The Giants were the second worst team in football last year,and draft picks at this point are potential, not certainty. The Eagles have earned status as the team to beat in the NFCE going into the season, but the Giants haven’t remotely earned #2 status.

They also lost one of the best LB's and LT's in the game to injury
Their wide receiver became a diva and detriment to the team
The played the whole year with basically all rookies in the secondary

all those issues are fixed meaning we should revert to 2016 plus we have some new tools to boot

Ur late to that party champ. Let me explain; I live in Washington homie & one of my lady friends has a son that attends Richmond he's a junior now, but through him& her I came to know about the player. He's a Quarterback, I was very impressed with him. He can make all the throws. In my evaluation of him i projected him to be a good to great player on the professional level(NFL) He is a Quarterback who plays with athlete assets...Dak is not a Quarterback, he's an athlete playing Quarterback which is a big difference. Dak is a placeholder, he's not a QB that can win in spite of. He's more like a QB on a winning team. There's a difference in the two. I Know real cowboy fans who Know the difference& believe me there is a difference.

That won't be a popular take here but on paper, it looks about right.

Games have to be played but rosters are built in the off-season. We are not a better overall team than we were last year. Seems like right now the team and fans are relying on hope and some adversity hitting the Eagles. The Giants are either going to bounce back or continue to decline, proving that last year was not a fluke. Commanders look like an 8-8 team but unfortunately, so do we.

How are we better?

OL, RB, backup QBs, WR, LB, overall DE's, the improvement of our young CB's. Also, Zeke will be better with OL being improved overall. Dak will be better with the offense being more to his liking. No more forcing the ball to Dez. Spreading it out to the depth we have at WR.
