It's not true they drafted Eazy E and he'll need to come along and develop and along with Kneeland was looked pretty good in training camp. I mean somehow you're saying Sam Williams can't do anything this year I mean are we forgetting all the pass rushers we have that have potential you'll have to create it the defensive coaches will have to come up with plans to make up for the loss of Parsons but don't act like we didn't have anybody that can get a sack that's ridiculous.. And they added the nose tackle they got from Green Bay I thought we needed a better nose tackle apparently they added someone better along the line at least we got with 2 1st round picks...

I tell you right now the surprise player will be Houston it wasn't just cause of what he did in the preseason games it's what he looked like and been disruptive in practice according to the coaches he's been hard to block by any of our players...

Dallas will owe base plus any roster bonuses.
As they have zero proration, they likely reduce his hit next year by extending him to spread that cap hit down to 5-7M.
 
Well now that the drama is over we can see how this new D coordinator handles the loss......and how much confidence do we have that the Jones boys will hit on these draft picks....but it will be good TV...at least they got something.

Arch isn’t going to declare unless the #1 pick holder is a team he would be willing to play for. Dallas may not be on his list.

Covid took my sense of smell several years ago. This is the most positive move for this organization in a very long time.
 
I'm surprised, I really don't care....on a day I made a deal to co-host a local sports podcast, Micah is gone....I was gonna use him as a mentor. Lol

Not happy at all. The writings were on the wall that this negotiation (or lack there of) was much different from Dak, CeeDee. Im just amused so many fans were in la la land and couldnt see it.

Good points, this is out of character for Jerry. Though his motives might be coming from some place else, at least he's cashing in on the player hype rather than overpaying for it,,, The fact that they landed a decent DT clinched it for me.

That's true and I'm not happy about that but they aren't second round picks but they'll be bottom 10 of the 1st round it's still the first round but you're also not taking into account what if they had a bad year what if they lose Jordan Love the Cowboys the San Francisco 49ers there are teams out there that kick the injury bug and it will take them out of the season so don't be looking ahead and acting like it's a done deal That they're going to be good or great.

Parsons themselves really does have a bad back what if he is taken out of games he can be taken out of games I'm not discounting he's a great pass rusher but if you run at him we the blueprints been there when the Dallas Cowboys meet better teams they find a way to neutralize the guy...

Yes I get it my shock too but they did get a defensive tackle also He's supposed to be a Pro Bowler that he can play nose tackle.

IF Kenny Clark returns to form after playing with a foot injury last year that required surgery, and he supposedly had a great camp, then he becomes automatically the best DL we have and by far the Best DT we have
is very good against the run which is our greatest defensive weakness

I was tired of Micah and frankly glad to see him go and he was NOT WORTH $47 M a year. The two picks can be used to trade back for more picks and beef up our roster.

Overall, I am OK with this trade
