The Cowboys won 7 games last year.
Micah doesn't move a needle enough for this team to pay him the highest ever non-QB contract.

They saved about 40M PER year in the Clark/Parsons swap and got two R1 picks.
And yes, we can forecast those will be picks in the mid to late 20s until we see GB suffer injuries or some nonsense and you end up picking higher than you ever expected.

No doubt Micah is a stud pass rusher, but you have been adding top 60 draftee pash rushers every season for 3 years now.
Williams, Osa, Clark, Fowler is a lot better than most teams on 3rd down.

This team traded the wrong guy if they want to win rings. Micah was number 11 not 4.

What you seem to not understand about football is you can’t just keep trading players and drafting new ones. Once you hit on a player you keep them.

You're literally whining that the Cowboys aren't paying more per year for 13 sacks than the Chiefs are for Mahomes like the Packers are now doing.

Alleluia! Out of Dak, Diggs, Parsons and Lamb, Parsons is the guy that should have been signed. That ship sailed and Parsons was not going be any help for the Cowboys the next couple of years, at least. Jerry made the right move.

  2. They didn’t get enough in return.

We won't contend for 2 or 3 years. Micah was overused and out of position....that took time off of his career. Because of this, they got enough.

You lost one when Dak got signed and hamstrung this team for 4 more years. Guess we’re even.

Bad news for you, Arch is probably not entering until the 2027 draft. Now, if we suck badly enough, maybe we can trade back and get more first rounds, but, at this point, we should go on a firesale.

Right they have Sam Williams the rookie Eazy E along with Fowler and Houston and Kneeland.. Maybe they believe they have enough To at least make up for a small part of his loss.

Exactly They have players on the team they can probably as a team and as a group with a good scheme try to cover him up the loss of Parsons... I mean everyone's screaming for a defensive tackle I think he plays more nose tackle but I think he's flexible And we have a lot of pass rushers they may not be as good as Parsons but together as a group I mean you do realize that Washington took our backups in Armstrong and Fowler last year and they were starters They went to the NFC championship game with Armstrong and Fowler people wake up Parsons is not worth $47 million..

Knowing what he got from the Packers means that old rumor probably wasn't a rumor and that they were asking for four years $200 million from the Cowboys that's $50 million it sounded crazy back then but apparently that tweet and that rumor was not fake.

Can guarantee that's what they were asking from because they were fed up with Jerry and that's what they were gonna hold him to and they took a little less from the Packers but there's no way in hell I could be OK with them paying parsons that kind of money.... About three years we'll know if this was a big mistake or not we'll get to see what we replaced him with and we'll get to see what the Packers have done with him that's it we have to wait about three years...

I'm not happy about the trade in it being to the Packers but you're right the Cowboys do better picking defensive ends and pass rushers both in the draft and free agency then they are with defensive tackles..

A pretty good drafting team as well to get two 1st round picks even though they're probably going to be lower 1st rounders I think they have a good chance of using them properly hopefully..

Every year every position should be up for grabs. Every player should be available for trade if the right offer comes along.

What type of trade package would be doable for the Chiefs to trade Mahomes or the Bengals to trade Burrow (if you were their GM)?
