Do you consider being ranked 17th as being up there with best?
This is so naive. QB stats are largely dependent on the type of offense the team runs. With Zeke, it’s a run dominant offense. Again, we’ll see what happens with Moore as the OC.

Haven't even watched the video, but it's obvious to me that with Dak as our QB, we must allocate sufficient resources to overcome Dak's deficiencies.

Right now, we just can't be the Patriots..

the headlines true for all other 30 teams in the league and we are not alone.. how can you emulate a team that the last decade has had the best owner, gm, HC, and HOF GOAT QB that all seem to be able to find highly talented Jags around the league and turn them into 1-2 year rental stars.. the base was set once you win 4, 5, 6 SBs players will come play for you cheaper then anywhere else SEE Golden State warriors..

you add your HOF QB has been taking like HALF what hes worth and nowhere near market for a top 5 ELITE QB.. ..

you can not reproduce this no matter how hard you try..it was lightening in a bottle a throw back to pre cap dynasty's….not Daks fault he was drafted and made the starter and now wants more then hes worth as the league itself is flawed...QBs are being allowed to hold the NFL hostage and owners are caving in.. this needs to change but TB decided to go against the grain.. Brees followed suit and the NFL ruined that shot at them going head to head with that no call..would have been great to see how that game turned out with two of the GOATS go head to head and ruin the narrative about young teams young coaches new blood new ways would have been thrown right out the window..

might be coincidence the Rams get free pass to further the narrative when it was clearly going to be Saints vs Patriots SB..

it was more then bad call it robbed fans to see a better game a rare occasion to see true throwback matchup..it also allowed the rams to claim hey look we made the Sb in 3 short years and further the narrative..it was travesty..

back on point..noone can be NE , they just cant.so we have what we have enjoy, hopefully EE gets back and we can have one or 2 shots to end the drought..

Numbers aren't nieve. They tell a specific story .
Thats like saying 2+2=4 is nieve.

Overcum? Interesting typo.

The Cowboys couldn't replicate the Pats formula even if they wanted to (they don't) because they don't have a QB anywhere close to Tom Brady.
...or a head coach anywhere close to Belichick.

Except in this case one team is using addition and subtraction and one is doing calculus.

It’s not naive, it’s asinine to believe all offensive systems run the same.

That’s why you have guys like Dak and wentz

Daks played 8 more games, but in a much more run oriented offense.

That’s why he’s only thrown the ball 27 more times than wentz. DIFFERENT SCHEMES.

I totally disagree. I know Patriots players personally. Make no mistake about it he gets there input, what they like. designs the game plan and passes it on to his coaches and they implemented. You're wrong on this one my Cowboy brother

Read this....

https://www.baltimoresportsandlife.com/erhardt-perkins-system-part-2/

Plus, Josh McDaniel didn’t reneg on the Colts head coaching gig to be a puppet OC for Belichick.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

JG isn't a protege of Belichik, but of Jimmy and Saban. Therefore, DAL will never be the Pats under him.

DAL is built on the philosophy of a dominant line on both sides of the ball. The Pats are built around an elite QB.

I would say that differently — we are built to do what we do better than the other guy which starts with a dominant OL and DL. The Pats are built to make the other guys do the two things they are least effective at, which changes week to week and starts with an elite QB.

How many first round draft picks do the Patriots accumulate by trading players before they were ready for new contract. That's the secret to their success Young early-round Talent. Oh yes and Brady
the draft for them has been average at best, and the fact they have a QB that may be the best to ever play is the key difference.

Yeah a lot of average first round picks. But you're right Brady makes a difference. I've always said, give me a bunch of average football players. Versatile guys. I will teach them to play as one. And I will win championships

I mean I guess...
Full or lions’ share credit of success could be debated as to Brady receiving the full credit, Belicheck getting it or a combination of the two.

But there is definitely no debating that those two combined are in a success class by themselves at the NFL level.

Other not quite as successful types include Big Ben with Tomlinson and Brees with Peyton.

Rodgers by himself I guess, since the whole scapegoating/firing of McCarthy this offseason...

And quite possibly Mahommes with Reid looks to be a formidable pairing for the future.

I can’t put Dak or Garrett in the same sentence with any of these QBs or coaches. I would start by getting a true franchise QB. That would require a true GM to do the scouting of said franchise guy and therein lies the foundational problem of the organization’s dysfunction. It’s never gonna change unless some other worldly blind luck draftee that is overlooked as a generational QB talent is taken and overcomes GM’ing, quarterbacking and coaching deficiencies.

And Dak definitely ain’t that. And I’ll leave the Garrett bar of quantifiable coaching success to his most staunch supporters and close family members unless they’re one in the same.

It’s called The Hope Strategy and brought to you and narrated by Jerry Jones for the last quarter century.

People keep trying to replicate the formula by hiring Belichick assistants and front office people, and they all fail, because the only formula is to be born Bill Belichick.

Maybe they could try cloning Bill next.
