I think you could go back through almost every Super Bowl team in the modern era and find a rookie that made a significant impact.

There’s a difference between a rookie making an impact and necessitating one to. If your mindset is “Mazi needs to step in day 1 and fix our run D,” then you’re in trouble. But if it’s “We’re fine without him, but whatever he gives us this year is a plus,” then that’s the situation that gets teams far. The SB teams you mentioned got bonus play from their rookies, it wasn’t something they went into the draft yearning for that year. Never draft for 2023, draft for 2024-2027.

That's just not how they think.

It's a business,....

fans get worried.

The club usually sit out offseason without key FA and trades .. while we saw just the opposite with the Philly Iggles.

And you don't think Cowboys seeing Philly in two different Super bowls.. while we are exited outta playoffs or not making the playoffs ,,, has us Not worried about
losing so much ground to Philly ,,isn't a " motivator "

Can’t worry about what Philly does in the draft but they’re going to be a problem for years. It’s going to be a battle between us and them until Washington finally gets a QB and joins the mix. If Daniel Jones keeps improving the Giants will be in the mix. The NFC East is becoming the NFC Beast.

It will come down to who did the best evaluations and who can coach them up.
Cowboys and Eagles both picked:

NT/DT
Hybrid LB/Athlete
OT projecting to OG
CB 6’1-2” and highly athletic

Though the Eagles may have more talent (maybe) it comes down to character and content in the long run.
It would be a challenge evaluating talent on Georgia and Alabama with all the talent around.
