The guru's said the same thing about them last year, and neither of their "stud picks" really did much, but our "overdrafted" guy had a really good season!
The best teams don't rely on rookies starting year 1.
They view the draft as a pipeline of talent, to be the core of their team 2 or 3 years down the road.
The best teams have their roster/starters set BEFORE the draft... then just add great players. If one or two happen to earn starting time in year 1, so be it. But the really good orgs don't need or worry about rookies playing much.
Loser teams rely on the draft to fill gaps or gaping roster holes, and measure draft success by how much playing time ur rookies got Year1.
If ur team is COUNTING on a rookie his first year, ur team isn't a good team.
