Cowboys at Seahawks Preseason Pregame Thread

I’m going to stop by watching Philly, and the ravens, at 7 PM,
You have to watch the competition

In a shell, we'll see: A simple version of Parker's defense that simply tries not to look foolish, and a whole lot of guys trying to stay away from 9-to-5 jobs.

I'll have my eyes on LT Overton and Devin Moore on Defense and on Offense, pretty much everyone at one time or another.

Need to see one of the younger WRs ball out, need to see a backup OT step up and look solid, and at least one RB make a case for RB2, and then of course how Howell/Milton look. I'm rooting for Milton but we need to see him make a noticeable improvement in throwing with touch — can't be rocketing every pass.
Back when Carroll was coaching them you had to watch out for dirty hits, ankle rolling rolling and the like,,, hopefully not anymore, or tonight anyway.

From what I have heard, no staters will be playing, that is why I am not even interested in some scrimmege game, just a waste of my time. lol...boring.
True.

It is boring.

Most of the stadiums have been empty.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I enjoy the preseason. We all can pretty much name the starting lineup and the top backups, but this time of year is the time we get to see those unheralded guys that just might make a lineup.

On offense, I want to see what Howell can do. I want to see which RB can step up....we really have 4 that are fighting for two spots. Davis, Blue, Mafah, Abanikanda, and even Corbin. Have heard good things mostly for all of them so far in camp. I want to see what receivers might make the last spot or two. We have Holden who was hyped quite a bit last year, we have Anthony Smith from the draft that is a very athletic WR and the camp darling Camden Brown. We have Trigg at TE and Schoonmaker is basically fighting for his NFL career.

I actually have a lot of interest in seeing if we have a decent backup OL. They are all very young with the exception of Leverette. We probably have 7 that are locked in with the starters and Bass and Thomas. Looking for at least two more.

On the defense, we have a draft pick in Overton that should play a lot. Should see Sam WIlliams and Lawrence at OLB, but Liufau, Wheat and Land are probably fighting for the last spot there. James and Barron should get a lot of time. On defense, we have a battle for the corner spots....I expect we will see Revel some early, but Carson and Devin Moore should get a lot of time. Downs is going to play a little from what it sounds like. And the safeties....we have heard a lot about Clarke and Wood as well as Childress who was a player last preseason.

Excellent post,

Nostradamus, but in reverse.

What do you think about World War II ?
Loooooooong lasting ramifications.

That country that joined late will basically dominate the new world order and land on the moon and form the Dallas Cowboys.

Also everyone will kind of forgive Japan because they end up being super cute

Warm-up game
Philly, ravens, 7 PM, watch it for an hour, and then the Cowboys
OMG, I’m in my glory, five months of no football
