Cowboys awarded 4th round compensatory pick

So....give away a young average tackle to just draft a tackle? And what tackle are you looking at?

And I don't know who is going to trade much for Collins.

Collins was better at G. He showed flashes of dominance. IMO, he's out of position at tackle. I don't think Connor Williams is an NFL starter.

One thing is for sure, they need to extend, trade, or release La El b/c he's not worth the 8.5 million dollar cap hit.

Good, at least we have a puck that will be useful i.e. not a 7th rounder or something. All 4 NFC East teams get picks, and Washington has 4 !

How did the rams sign everyone under the sun and get two thirds? Who did they lose?
They lost Watkins and Trumaine Johnson for very large deals and only signed Suh to a large deal. Nearly every other headline acquisition they made was via trade.

Edit: not Solder forgot he was a Patriot. I’m sure I’m forgetting someone they lost because Suh probably would have offset one of Watkins and Johnson.

They signed their guys like Woods last year and players that were waived like Suh and Fowler don't count

Cooks, Talib and Peters were trades

The rich get richer. I don't know how the Rams add all the talent they did and still get two top compensatory picks.

Trades and cut players like Suh don’t factor into the formula. They lost 4 big expiring contracts and signed no one of significance that came off an expiring contract from another team.

I don’t think you can know if a guy can be a starter after a rookie season at a new position
By the end the year Williams was playing pretty well

Suh was a cap casualty so Durant count towards comp calculation

The NFL shouldn’t waste their time with this stuff
They could have just came here and knew months ago what we was getting
I’ve been reading that news here for months
