Cowboys back in playoff hunt?

That’s what I read this morning. 3 of our next 4 games we will be favored to win. And the only road game is at Carolina.

NYG, Cinn, Car and Tampa are all arguably winnable games now. If we could reach 7-7 we’d definitely be back in the hunt.

Wouldn’t that be something however unlikely it appears now. That’s what winning a game does for you. Amazing for a team that didn’t look like it could win a game rest of season.

Never underestimate our ability to drop winnable games. Lol. Win against commanders was nice to see but we tried to give it to them. They just gave it back. 2 huge ST TDs late in the game won it. One was a dropped kickoff catch and the other was a play he should have dove on. Not to mention commanders missing that extra point.

Rush probably plays himself into a starting position conversation ( another team of course )

Did everyone forget we were losing 0-3 at halftime before the world turned upside down for half an hour. The first half was far more representative of our playing level over the season than the mad half hour, or even madder last 3 minutes.

We are achieving the square root of nothing this year other than slipping down the draft in the wrong direction. I don’t think even Carolina is a given after the way they played this weekend.

Come on guys, we won one game against the Commanders team who didn’t show up. It was a sloppy game at that. Yes I think we win a couple of our next few games but we’re not gonna win them all. Very best case scenario this team could finish, it probably realistically is 8-9 and that’s not getting in the playoffs. 9-8 wouldn’t do it either. We’d have to win out and get help.

Going 3-5 before the 60 million dollar man quit on the season just to get dug out of the hole and make the playoffs with the 2 million dollar man would be beautiful.

We BARELY beat Washington on the account of them whiffing on the last XP and people are talking about playoffs.

Could at least wait to see how this team does over the next couple of games before even entertaining the idea of them being back in the playoff hunt. Can't blame Cowboys fans who don't choose to jump back on believing in this team, considering how they have a habit of losing games as soon as people start to talk about them contending in the playoffs in any way. They aren't getting in with 8 losses, which I see them having with their game remaining against the Eagles.

Unless the Eagles are sitting their starters because of already having clinch a seed or having no chance at the first seed. Because of the Lions either pulling away or the Eagles losing a couple of game to put the first seed out of reach for them. But unless the Lions collapse in December, then the Eagles will be playing their starters as late into the season as possible to get their 1st seed and a bye.

Don't see the Eagles losing to a Cooper Rush led Cowboys team. As the only way this happens is if the Eagles have a collapse equal to or worse than the one they had late last season.
