Cowboys back in playoff hunt?

Once there was this Parcellsism, "You are what your record says you are." But no one seems to think that's relevant anymore.

I understand the players and coaches short term desires to win but management is "paid" to think long term. Quit playing anybody that's going to be gone next year and devote some time to the players needing development. They'll lose some and win some,,, fine,,, but don't be sacrificing that playing time for the sake a squeaking out a few extra wins and sabotaging our draft position!
 
The Cowboys have an equal chance to get into the playoffs as General Custer had at Little Big Horn! :muttley:

again, as fans that would be fun / incredible. i don’t think anyone here cares about you enough to worry about a posting spree over enjoying watching the team perform well. you give yourself waaaaaaaaay too much credit

i don’t have any illusions of what this team is or can do, but they actually played a really solid first half, so reducing it to what the score was is not really indicative, especially when the other team was held to 3
 
The Cowboys break a 5 game losing streak and now we’re seeing posts about McCarthy and Zimmer possibly returning. Cooper Rush being better than Dak and the Cowboys being back in the playoff hunt. :rolleyes:

think the purpose of the thread is just that it’s still mathematically possible and with the easiest slate of games on deck. weird season. don’t think anyone believes that they’d make any noise. although the defense IS capable of high level play as they return to health
 
If we beat the Giants the Super Bowl talk may start up again. Lol

Even have a poster envisioning the Cowboys with Cooper Rush overcoming the playoff hump and somehow getting to the Super Bowl. lol
