You think if Tunsil falls to 4, we'll draft Jack, Bosa, or Ramsey over him?

I don't think so. I think we either draft him or trade down.

Tunsil will likely go to the Chargers who have a need on the OL but if they pass on him the Cowboys won't take him they'll take either Bosa, Elliott, Ramsey (assuming he's there) or trade down.

We're trading down, maybe a couple of spots with Baltimore if Tunsil is there.

Chargers are most likely taking Ramsey from their GMs comments.Hope our FO has made some calls about teams who need a big time LT.

You hear different things from different people reports the other day had the Chargers very interested in Tunsil and pointed to all the issues on their OL. We'll just have to see the reports change every day.

For the record here are Jerry's comments on the subject of Tunsil

"It doesn't look logical. But sometimes it can become just so obvious as to the value that I wouldn't rule out anything relative to an offensive lineman. But that's probably where we're strongest right now and that doesn't look like the best use of a draft pick at any high level but sometimes that is just overshadowed."

I believe Tunsil provides that obvious value. You're helping your running game and you're helping to protect Tony Romo you're most valuable player. As a result you're helping your defense. Tunsil does more for the defense than any player we can draft on defense.

I think you will either lose 100 or break even. IF Ramsey is there at 4 they will take him. If SD takes Ramsey, I believe they will find a trade partner looking for Tunsil and you will break even.

So this year I've made two Cowboys bets so far.

The first bet I made was to hedge against what I didn't want to happen.

I bet the Cowboys would take a QB at #4 (50 dollars) - I take that as a probable loss right now. Unless somehow the Cowboys get Lynch at 4. Only thing that can save me is if the Cowboys trade down.

The second bet is that if Tunsil falls to 4, that the cowboys would draft him rather than any player on defense at #4. If they trade down the bet is null. Also a 50 dollar bet.

Thoughts?

If you bet the Dallas would take a QB at 4, how does trading down save you?

Are both bets null if they trade down then?

Anyway, I would have bet against you on both of those. lol
Did not think they'd take a QB at 4 and feel they will not take Tunsil at 4 either (but will instead trade down if he's there)

I made a bet that claiborne would get less than 5 ints, t crawford less than 10 sacks, morris less than 1200 yds, and witten has over 8 false starts for $500 w a buddy. Win all day

You're going to be out $100.

I read somewhere that Tunsil is off their board; if he's there at 4, either they trade the pick or pick someone else...

I've said since the end of the season they would draft a QB or defense at 4. I have a feeling they like Lynch more than they are letting on. Last week Jerry said they might draft need over BPA. Although I consider Tunsil the surest thing in the draft, I dont think he ever plays here. SD O Line is an absolute mess and coaches and GMs jobs hang in the balance, they would be foolish not to take him.

Trade downs null the bets.
