No the pass rush is still applying a lot of pressure, teams are getting the ball out quicker. Run game could get better? sure but if teams focus on shutting run down Cowboys can throw it and with the addition of Hilton out offense puts even more pressure on defense.
Last 3 weeks we've given up 27 plus against the opponents with few sacks. So pressure without sacks equal points the last 3 weeks.

I've never seen people complain so much about a coaching staff that has made the playoffs in back to back seasons. Thread after thread about how much we suck and how the sky is falling. It's crazy. lol

I get it, we all want playoff wins, but why don't we let this thing play out first? Maybe we get bounced quick? Maybe we win? That's the fun in why we watch.

I didn't complain! I said what we need to change to win. If you want to put your head in the sand and say everything is alright. That's on you. I like focusing on what can kill us in the playoffs moving forward. Hope Dallas is doing the same.

Does it occur to you that there are only two KINDS of plays an offense will run before they have to punt? I am no math wizard, but it seems to me calling a run, and not the specific run has about a fifty-fifty chance of being right.

I wouldn't go open up a palm reading business with that record.
Thanks, man. When a guy like me is sitting in the 300 section and can tell by the formation that it is going to be a run, that's a problem. wouldn't you agree with that?

But claiming it they always do this? McCarthy has lead this team to back to back playoffs 12 game winners which has not been done since 1996. So this always BS is just that. Defense has fallen off? yes but still making big plays and creating turnovers. Offense has been putting up over 27 points a game.
Here is our problem right now. Brady will throw quick and even invite the pass rush so he can throw screens quick balls to the backs etc while our 4 rushers are out of the play. They are putting together an offense as we speak. Prob a quick outline. He is going to go right at wright early and often too. They will test our run resolve also. Play action to confuse. We get fooled easy. Im sure they will isolate diggs to get him to jump. These are our problems on D. If we don't counter them we r toast. Hope Dan Quinn is ready on these fronts.

On offense Vea is going to test Tyler Smith and McGovern. They will blitz Dak disguise coverages blitzes etc. normal stuff I would come out firing out them on their heals.

On Defense I would get in Brady’s face right away. Rush forward no stunts.

The Cowboy's biggest problem moving forward is Dak throwing INTs and his receiving targets helping him get those INTs.

Under Mike McCarthy and fellow coaches Dallas has always started hot then faded as they get to the end. And I believe it's one single answer for it. Once we are exposed on any side of the ball. Dallas is unable or unwilling to change their game plan. I believe and have seen most of Dak's int's come from the same routes. Like teams are just waiting for those routes to jump them. On defense Quinn seems to love playing man to man versus running some zone underneath. Kellen Moore:facepalm: I can practically sit on the couch and call plays for Dallas. So-if I'm on the couch play calling. How much is a professional DC seeing those plays coming at game time? I mean on both sides of the ball we are so predictable. And getting back to Quinn. Why can't we seem to be able to dial up a great blitz when we need it? I rarely have seen a Dallas blitz get home. And when it does its usual Wilson that gets it. In closing I believe if Dallas doesn't show different fronts to teams-especially with TY- being teams don't have much film on him as a Dallas Cowboy. We're pretty much looking at one and out. Dak has to stay consistent- minus the int's. We need to establish the running game again!! All these so-called future hall of famers on the Oline? Yet can't move a box of tissue. And in closing. We need that defense and pass rush we had the first half of the season. Once again teams scheme getting the ball out fast against it. Quinn has to counter this some way. And finally. I'm so Sick of Tom Brady!! Time for Dallas to send his butt into retirement for good:hammer:

OMG! really not another person talking about how he can called the plays! SMFH

Most teams have pretty much shut down our pass rush. And running game could get better also. All I'm saying is McCarthy and company has to be a partner in our chances of winning a playoff game. They can't scheme better on both sides of the ball? One and out!
so what your saying is the coaching and game planning, play designs have to be better if cowboys are to win in playoffs ?? if so I agree.
and with MM and kellen, I never know what they are going to do, but I feel like they will blow it at some point in first 2 games.

This is total BS and is an indication that you haven’t been paying attention to the games. They’ve been making in game adjustments ALL YEAR LONG.

I agree 100%! I completely disagree with our attitude that it’s ok if the opposing offense or defense knows what’s coming because they can’t stop it. It really puzzles me why we never have coaches that go away from tendencies and throw in wrinkles to keep the opponent off guard and not sure of what to expect. That and we never trick people with misdirection.

With Pollard, Lamb, Hilton and Turpin we have weapons that have to be accounted for but we don’t take advantage of that. I’m praying all of this changes in the playoffs and we actually pull out a couple of surprises that help get us over the hump.

The OP is correct that we generally start strong & then fade. You can debate the reasons but it's true.

Too many of you are looking at this in W\L terms. He's talking about how we struggle in second half of seasons regardless the level of competition. We only made the playoffs last year because of bad teams down the stretch. Largely the same this year.

Did you also notice that after the first Eagles game teams were running at Parsons more and they also were throwing screens towards him waiting for him to commit to the QB.

He’s noticing a lot of things that aren’t reality though. You are too since Dallas has faced one of the toughest schedules in the league and are 6-1 with multiple wins against playoff teams in their tough stretch against bad teams. It’s amazing how easy it is to make your argument when you just make things up

Probably because the omens and signs of One and Done in Playoffs are inevitable ...? ....
