Whatever. If this team did not have enough time to pack properly, there might be a suggestion that somehow led to misfortune.

Why can't you use the "comfortably" angle with everything then? If you're going to give a presentation to the board, you should do so comfortably. If you're going to sit down to dinner at the Four Seasons, you should do so comfortably. If you're going to propose to your girlfriend, you should do so comfortably. Sorry, sometimes comfort needs to take a back seat when in public or in certain situations. And there are plenty of very sharp looking pants that are very comfortable.

FWIW, I don't lose a lot of sleep at night over this issue. LOL.

We'll I am relieved you're not taking in too seriously. It's not about comfort it's about common sense and being appropriate. In each of the cases you mentioned a suit is appropriate.

On a professional sports team charter I think sweats are appropriate. My only caveat -- they should all be in the same sweats. I believe there's something to that uniformality and connection -- especially on the road.

They could board the plane nekkid for all I care.

Suits or no suits. I couldn't care less. Just win.

lol at the dress code debate...

go boys.

This is about as succinctly put as it can be. Nobody ought to care what players wear on a plane. If there was a time when the coach wanted them to dress up as a part of paying attention to details....ok. I still don't care. If he's loosened up now, ok. Don't care. If he goes back to making them wear suits on the plane again for whatever reason, don't care about that, either. It doesn't matter, and it's not worth the three pages of debate, by a long shot.

Twitter pics are great, though, WG. Thanks, as always, for posting.

:clap:Just a battle of who's right and who's wrong amongst the factions. Like you, who cares?
Just freakin win.

It is more about egos than anything.

You're joking right?

Maybe they're not pissing and moaning just for the fun of it, maybe they're trying to maintain some level of civility and aesthetics?

Here what it looks like when folks consider the small details important...

And here is what it looks like when people decide that the small details are too trivial to deal with and letting things go is okay...

Attention to the small details?

You're joking right?

It's actually more of a fable than a joke. I was simply making the point that there are any number of times when it is important to look nice, despite the fact that one might be more comfortable wearing sweat pants. Why shouldn't a plane trip fall under that category? Just because? Who decided that? It certainly used to. And I would personally like to see more consistently well-dressed people on the planes that I'm on. Oh, and the most important question - why exactly is it so hard to put some effort into looking nice when out in public?

It used to be like that until riding a plane was like getting on a Greyhound.

Can some one point me to The CowboysZone? You know the one about football. :)
