Only thing that matters in Dez situation is whats going on the Cowboys and Dez. Cops didnt feel anything needed to be done in 2011, but nothing made of it.

Dallas and agents still arent even communicating, and werent communicating before this rumor came out

Nobody knows Dez the way the Cowboys do. His rookie yr when he was in trouble or had problems the first person he would call was Garrett.

Thing that Dallas or any team needs to worry about, Goodell is going to "protect" the shield. So if anything else comes out that is incriminating, Dallas should be worried.

Dennis: If Dez was innocent of all this the smart thing wouldve been for him to get in front of somebody and talk. He isnt doing this. So theres something going on behind the scenes. The question is how should the Cowboys deal with it and how will it affect them?

Dennis: You have bigtime players missing whole yrs, Dallas doesnt want to lose somebody for a yr and paying them alot of money. I think thats why a deal hasnt been done. There clearly is a reason why Dallas wont give him 45mil guaranteed.

Dennis: i feel Demarco could be what Emmitt was in 1993.
Eatmon: the offensive line did not make Emmitt great. different situation with Murray.

Dallas should keep a budget with Demarco, and thats probably why he's somewhere else in 2015

If you have something that works, you have to bring it back.

I completely disagree. The Cowboys are doing the right thing. Keep your mouth shut and let it pass. No reason to bring any more attention to this matter as far as I am concerned. It's in the past just leave it there.

I don't know if it's the Cowboys or his agent hushing him but it's a great idea.

Yup. If Dez did start going off on Twitter people would call him immature. Better to say nothing at all

What I don't understand is, how can someone be punished, fined, or suspended for something he did in 2011?

an amped up Dez is not what you want in front of microphone trying to defend rumors. Right now he would be pissing up a rope.

Normally they couldn't, but the NFL is going crazy with this appearing tough on Domestic Violence stuff. They are being influenced by the winds of public opinion a little too much. They are making an example of Adrian Peterson even though a judge just told them they were wrong. They don't want that precedent set and will make Peterson suffer for it.

I do as well. There's no need to explain anything at this point. He'd give credibility to the existence of something greater than what is documented.

May as well hand someone a mallet to pummel you with.

This is how much the nfl cares about women and their newfound love of domestic violence and breast cancer;

Deangelo Williams, RB for Carolina, mother died of breast cancer. Guess how many Panthers showed for her funeral? Keep in mind this guy played for them for 8-9 yrs. The answer? 1. One person from the entire organization showed up. That person? Greg Hardy

If it gets national (negative) attention, goddell will be all over it...perhaps he needs to look in the mirror?

Not surprised Dennis is too dumb to realize that in something like this when you know there is nothing to it - silence does a better job.
