somewhere between .6 and .7 if I remember correctly. He ran like a 4.62378 IMO. Just guessing though.

Randle also ran a 4.6 but he was visibly faster than Murray who ran a 4.37.

There's a definite difference between a timed 40 from a sprinter's stance and a shot vs running on grass.

What's obvious, with not drafting a RB, giving Felix Jones a try out & now this, the FO is FAR more concerned about the RB situation then they claim to be, so, I can only deduce that although it's still early, as pre-season approaches & the tick of the clock gets louder & louder we should be just this side of the panic button because the "Committee" part of "RBBC" is not the Committee they were hoping it would shape up to be.

I think they are just kicking rocks, as they should be without any backs they know they can count on. I hope they keep doing it so if this questionable experiment blows up, they are ready with alternatives.

IMO they havent shown their hand either way.

There isnt anything available to them that makes a difference. Tate and Green are probably the only back they have looked at with a realistic shot at meaningful carries. And thats a long shot.

I dont think they are content, but I dont think they are desperate either. If they are desperate they would have forced a trade by now. They arent willing to do that which tells me they arent desperate. But they have looked at or in Greens case linked to, a couple players that could have a role in the offense. Which tells me they arent completely content either.

They didnt add Tate and I dont think they will add Green. I believe if they make a move, it wont be for at least another month when they figure what if anything they need, and most likley 2 months when preseason is coming to a close

I would have added Tate. Three pretty good years in Houston, followed by two bad ones with limited carries, means he at least fits in with this bunch.

Sign him and see what he's got in TC. What can it hurt? I remember another FCS guy that tore it up as well that we brought in. That worked out ok for us ok!

Don't be scared. If it was any other team, it would be considered due diligence. Our fans think that if anyone is brought in that isn't "you know who", then it's panic and doom.
