Nice pickup. Someone has to play CB tomorrow night. We don't want Patmon and Mitchell to carry the whole load that night. I think Webb, Patmon, and Mitchell all made the team. Right now, Jemea Thomas is just a body to get by the last preseason game. He may warrant PS consideration.
Sweet a corner!
If they value tackling, he is better than Webb.keep Thomas, release Webb
come on baby
Many of us had the Cowboys taking him late in the draft.
looks like he played lot of zone. could be a better match for Marinelli than a press man corner esp if he tackles well which it look like he does. draft grade on him was as high as 3rd I bet Bilicheck thought he got a steal in 7th.I see Jamea more of a nickel safety at the moment. I looked him up during the draft and he plays alot more like a safety than a corner. As you can see he is athletic but is lacking height and a true position at the moment. A developmental prospect at the moment. The question is, is he a safety or corner?
04/29/14 - Five players who should be on Dallas' draft radar: DB Jemea Thomas, Georgia Tech: A former running back, Thomas was a two-year starter at Georgia Tech, logging snaps between the rover safety and cornerback positions. He led the team in tackles as a senior and finished his career with 30 passes defended and nine interceptions. Thomas isn't the biggest or fastest, but he plays fast, balanced and decisive with a tough-minded, high motor approach to the game. He can get lost in coverage at times with some tweener traits, but is a try-hard overachiever who gets the most out of his ability and has the on-field intensity, versatility and play speed to be a quality sub-package defensive back. Thomas is a third round talent who will probably still be on the board in the fourth and Dallas has shown some interest. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com

I had him in my 7 round mock right before the draft.
