I had him in my 7 round mock right before the draft.
What round?
I had him in my 7 round mock right before the draft.
I find this move intriguing but I also know Dallas has not had much luck with players with girl names.
The only problem with that is Moore will be our third most experienced CB behind Carr and Mo. But I like Webb's speed and athleticism. It just needs to translate to the field more.
Webb was very good in the first two preseason games. He is very good at keeping on top of receivers going deep even when asked to press.
Against Baltimore and Steve Smith he forced Flacco to throw the ball away in combination with his teammates but he was the underneath coverage. Very smooth getting into his drop and transitioning to pick up receivers in whatever direction they might break. He wasn't passed on very often but he does make plays on the ball like when he kept Smith from tucking the ball away letting Wilcox knock it loose.
Moore is a much better tackler but Webb is a much much better cover guy. Webb has a chance to cover Desean Jackson, Wes Welker types in zone coverage. Moore just seems like a replacement level talent and progress stopper as opposed to Patmon, Webb, and Mitchell.
What about Romo?
It seems like they need a bigger guy in the mix. There are a lot of really big WRs and TEs that play like big WRs these days. I realize that big doesn't help if they can't play, but it seems like they would have had some bigger guys in camp just to try and develop them.
More (write up on his college play)Pro Report with the New England Patriots:
- Was a sixth-round selection for the Patriots out of Georgia Tech. Played as a safety for the Yellow Jackets, but for the Patriots his primary position was as a corner. I did see him line up against the Eagles as a safety in certain packages. He also played the slot and appeared to be very comfortable in that role. He showed foot quickness along with an extended burst. His backpedal and movement appeared to have a hint of tightness, but when the receiver crossed on him he did manage to plant and redirect with him. Thought his positioning in routes was very good. Did not see many routes where the receiver was able to separate on him. When studying his college tape, he was a solid tackler and always around the ball. Only saw him make one tackle in the two games I watched. He’s not the biggest guy physically, but he did not shy away from contact as a safety, either. Played with more quickness in these NFL games than he did in college.
I find nothing feminine about the name Antonio. That is the name of the most interesting man in the world.
try Tony! look it up and you will note that 10000 girls have the name Tony. its girlish but maybe it is your fathers name so LOL u don't agree. Tony is a feminine name. I think your joke of a statement about feminine names was just that...comical. But now u seem a tad bent about my same same reply. I think preseason brings out a little testiness and therefore a few fights are good for everybody. Looking forward to some real hitting soon.
Not remotely. I appreciate humor the way I appreciate my Cowboys.
Tony (especially Antonio -- Antonia is the female version) is a boy's name, though, and girls may have boy names. As for the boys named after girls playing for the Cowboys: It has never worked out. Maybe this guy can be the exception but I'm not betting on it!

So you are saying NE is 1 round better than you? LOL.
