Those two garbage years were spent on some horrible offenses in Carolina. He's a much more capable back than he's shown there and could be competition for the #2 spot with Williams. Still hoping a draft pick is the #1 option.

Like I said in another thread, maybe the system there didn't fit Sanders. I have no knowledge of the Panthers offense but it's not outrageous to think they mis-used Sanders. Plus he is here cheap. Worst case scenario, he gets cut in August like Royce Freeman last year. Best case scenario, Dallas has veteran depth.
Quinn Ewers' chokeness against better teams, plus Sarkisian's playcalling during key/crucial moments is what cost the Longhorns against Ohio State. Sarkisian's stubborn refusal to allow Manning to play more also hurt the team.
Best case is he plays like his last year for the Eagles.

Didn't he start later in the season along side the Red rifle? As to where Sanders was lining up alongside Bryce who at the time was leading the all time worst offense.
This is true, but it's possible being rejected by his team and then a change of scenery will light a fire under him. Not necessarily likely.. but it has happened before.
