Cowboys dodged 2 bullets.as two names slipped, they became more of a consideration for Dallas: Shedeur Sanders and Quinn Ewers.

He fell because the talent don’t match the headache that very well could accompany him.Yeah, thats why he fell. He’s cocky…..
Yeah but they got hit by hit by shot gun blast last September.Cowboys dodged 2 bullets.
Probably the same reasons Washington drafted RGIII and Kirk cousins in the same draft...with the hope of being able to trade one of them for more than what they invested in them.Regardless of what you think of Sanders, by the 5th round, does it matter? It's low risk.
I just don't understand the Browns. Why did they draft two QBs?
Yeah I am not even sure Sanders makes the opening day roster (not saying he doesn't have a chance, but that is a crowded room). Depends upon not only what he shows, but what direction the Browns are going in. You know they are keeping the 3rd round pick, and at least one of Pickett and Flacco. What's worse than drafting two QBs is that the Browns now have five QBs on the roster.
Good point.Hope is always good. But flaming out isn't usually a good sign.
Really! Is that confirmed. Not that I’m doubting you but if there a link to that. Reason why I am asking is because that changes how I think about him. If Jerry Jones, the king of attention, king of introducing drama to keep us relevant, king of media coverage and most importantly king of giving players chances when most teams would given up on them. If Jerry has no interest in drafting you, there’s a problem. And even Booger offered to give him character reference, but said he saw no purpose in drafting him.
It's not low risk though. You'd have the Deion Circus.Regardless of what you think of Sanders, by the 5th round, does it matter? It's low risk.

Those are all facts based off of what...speculation?
- How cocky he is
- How his cockiness reflects on his coach-ability (or lack thereof)
- How any action by the team he or his father disagree with could turn into a high visibility drama on social media and the talking heads
- How the head coach of the team (and the team itself) drafting him would be dealing with constant speculation of hiring Deion to replace him.
How he's better than most other QB's in this draft, but not considered a blue chip.
That's why teams didn't draft him earlier.
The Browns sent a clear message that he is not going to walk in and be handed the team by already drafting a QB and waiting until the fifth. Who knows if he will get the message.
Explain why he didn't get drafted over much worse QBs....big guy?Yeah, thats why he fell. He’s cocky…..
Joe Milton is just another Ole Miss bust Dallas has brought in or drafted.

, cause he's way better than alot of the guys before him? Everybody is laughing at the comment but not explaining why YOU think he wasn't drafted earlier. Especially when alot of teams said they didn't like the way he interviewed so arrogantly!?Oh yeah. The whole quarterback starved league passed on him JUST because he is cocky. Nothing else.
Ridiculous. It's not low risk though. You'd have the Deion Circus.
IMO, it'll never work for Shedeur as long as Deion is involved. No pro wants to play for a team with a coach that coaches his son as QB and that's what it'd take. Deion is simply living vicariously through Shedeur. Shedeur is too naive to understand it all. His dad is poison.
Shedeur has never played for another coach. I predict he'll get some sort of shot then lose his cool when it doesn't go his way. Wherever he goes, they'll be talk of Deion being the next coach, etc. etc. What coach wants to be looking over his shoulder because of some spoiled brat?
I've been following Shedeur since Jackson State. It's a clown show wherever Deion goes. He really isn't that great of a coach, his assistants are doing the real work.
Yes, it's confirmed. It's in his second day presser. Or when he answered questions afterwards. Just Google something like, Jerry Jones thought on why Shedur Sanders fall in the draftReally! I personally thought Jerry would jump on this, purely for the media attention and marketing. This is shocking if it’s true.
