Cowboys Cornerbacks

[Shannon1]

Didn’t we sign a cb that was on the patriots

They traded for Joey Porter from the Steelers...

Bland looks lost and uninspired.

[FiveSuperBowls]

Bland needs to change his shoes! He slips too much.

[shabazz]

Reddy allowing a perfect rating lol

Playing more like Helen Reddy

Bland looks lost and uninspired.

Perhaps demolishing a perfectly good duplex will get him going again

[3rdEyewarrior]

Just start revell and porter. Mixing bland nd durant. Go physical. Bland might not be 100%

[jblaze2004]

You can make a case that when Durant comes back and if Revel is healthy then We should be JPJ, Revel and Durant. Bland the 4th QB. Bland sucks outside. Moving him inside isn't going to make him better. He has major trouble staying with WR's when they cut. I never seen a CB slip and fall as much as he does.

[Hennessy_King]

JPJ, Durant, and speed are the only corners that ever need to be ok the field. This rotation garbage from coach Parker gotta stop

Id rather start Porter and Durant, with Revel....then Bland.

Player	Passer Rating	Completion%	Snaps (Defense)
Steward	158.3	92.30%	87
Bland	126.2	72.40%	327
Revel	65.4	50.00%	134
Speed	60.4	50.00%	76
Durant	42.1	20.00%	87

Bland sucks....

I'd Carter Star reel IV 5'10 durant. He's better suited for the slot at 5'10 with 4.38 speed. Let revell and porter play bump & run on the outside.

[RandyOh]

i just want to see a game with a healthy secondary. Healthy Thompson, healthy JPJ, healthy Durant, healthy Locke. No more Steward, Bell, or Bland please.

[exciter]

Not sure what this is supposed to prove other than that the 2 corners most likely to be covering the 1st and 2nd read vs the opposing teams top 2 receivers are in fact the corners most likely to be targeted.
It completely negates Downs who played the nickel the first 3 games whose passer rating is 138%.
Then there's missing context.
For instance the Commanders game where Durant was beaten for about 10 yards and the ball was overthrown.
Or the multiple times Bland was supposed to get inside help by design and didn't.
Or that these corners are having to cover for way too long!
Etc etc etc

Playing more like Helen Reddy

I am Reddy hear me roar?

[Birch_Wood]

The corners who play the most (Bland) are getting torched, while the backups are performing better it seems. Steward's rating is the biggest red flag, though a small snap count means a few big plays can skew things.

[Birch_Wood]

I’ve been saying that the conerbacks have been playing like a bunch of Jerry’s Kids, other than Durant. You aren’t going to win many games playing like that.

Cowboys cornerbacks Bland and Steward are making opposing quarterbacks look spectacular.

[darthseinfeld]

Or JPJ needs outside and Bland inside.

Bland isn't a slot CB

[Doomsday]

Bland isn't even trying to hide that fact he doesn't care and isn't giving 100%

I would say he took the money and run, but he is always falling down.

[darthseinfeld]

Reddy came out on a corner blitz last season and missed the sack. Based on that he became a lot of folks new pet cat.

Comedy.

Thats all it takes. Overshown made some plays unblocked on blitzes and he became an All Pro caliber player
