It is exactly why I think he will be good for the locker room.........keep some of the younger guys in check about Zim.His attitude probably changed at 32 compared to 27-28.

Lol, they certainly will sign some free agents. They will field a team with a full roster.I have a feeling we’re not signing any big names. It’s sad we’re at that point.
I just feel like we need an upgrade at center, run game stunk, he was part of the reason why.Any FA money needs to go to Tyron and then Biadasz.
BrooksBrooks please.
No brainer......can see this coming a mile away. Not a bad addition.......could be Zim's coach in the locker room.

Cowboys could reunite Eric Kendricks with Mike Zimmer in free agency
Kendricks was nucleus of the Vikings defense for seven years under Zimmer, culminating in a First-Team All-Pro nod in 2019 when he posted 110 tackles, 12 passes defended, four tackles for loss and two forced fumbles.
Now 32 years old, Kendricks obviously isn't the same player he was back then, but he was a bright spot on an otherwise dismal Chargers defense last season. In 15 games, he produced 117 tackles and a 73.6 run-defense grade to go with a 82.5 pass-rush grade that ranked fourth amongst linebackers, per Pro Football Focus. His seven missed tackles were also tied for the fewest at the position.
The only reason Kendricks got released is because the Chargers are starved for cap space. The move provides $6.5 million in cap relief and they're still $19.5 million over the cap. With decisions looming on Mike Williams, Khalik Mack and Joey Bosa, Kendricks was likely the first of multiple Chargers cap dominos to fall before the new league year.
Had Brooks notched another Herculean 160+ combined tackle season as he had the prior two, he’d have a strong case to compete against Queen as the top linebacker on the market. As it stands, Brooks will have suitors but he’ll likely be disappointed with the initial offers and have to settle with a shorter-term deal as he proves his health and trajectory are on the right track.Brooks

You can get Kendrick’s for one year, 3-4 million. There is your answer
- 4 yrs, $45,355,196
- Avg. Salary: $11,338,799
Yep, makes so much sense we probably won’t do itI'd be pretty shocked if this didn't happen. Shouldn't cost too much, fills a need, and has the Zimmer connection.
$3-$5 million max. He was making around $6 for LAKendricks won't come for cheap. At his age (32), he knows this is his last chance to find a big contract. Cowboys don't have the money. Forget about Kendricks coming here. Pipe dream.
I seriously doubt he will agree to $5 mil / season. He had 113 tackles last year, far more than any of our LBs.$3-$5 million max. He was making around $6 for LA
Not that tackle numbers mean much but:I seriously doubt he will agree to $5 mil / season. He had 113 tackles last year, far more than any of our LBs.

They are both still on their rookie contracts. Kendricks is a 32 year old proven vet. Not the same kind of comparison cost-wise. Nice try.Not that tackle numbers mean much but:
