Cowboys D is a Fraud

The entire organization is a fraud. The team hasn’t won anything of note for 27 years and counting (they’re winning nothing this year so I included it in the count). The team hasn’t even reached the NFC championship game in that period. They’re effectively worse than what the organization was when it started as an expansion team in terms of success in a less amount of time.

Tennessee is one tough football team. They are the AFC’s 49ers. The Cowboys defense has a fatal flaw in the run defense but we have the best pass rush. The Cowboys have to adjust.

Yep, if they worried about stopping the run as much as getting sacks, we might have a decent defense.

yup, those civics were like molasses. Sadly, the corollas were even a bit slower. Manual transmission was a must in both those cars…… but man, all you had to do was change timing belts every 60K and feed them oil changes and they go 250 to 300K miles. Great longevity and so accessible to work on

This is not surprising. Watch how the Titans' DE set the edge. The don't over pursue and they hold their ground. Also notice how their LBS come up to fill the gaps quickly. When you watch the Titans you can see why the Cowboys struggle to stop the run.

The cowboy D is based off getting pressure on the QB. The good QBs get the ball out to quick and can avoid pressure. The defense is better than it was 2 years ago…but as we saw on Sunday…remove Parsons from rushing the QB and this D is average.

You are absolutely right. My Aunt swore by them. She bought 2 of them and they lasted a combined 30 years. They were ridiculous reliable as long as you took care of them. Honda and Toyota were the reason the American car industry had to up their game in the 80s. We put out an awful product around that time. Minus a few exceptions.

What you say is true, but they have to be at least average at stopping the run to get into a position of rushing the Qb…….they fail to get other offenses is 3rd and long many times because other teams are gouging them on the previous downs with the run…….they can’t pin their ears back and go after the Qb when it repeatedly 3rd and short

Well yeah, remove Mahomes from KC and I would imagine they are average on offense too. But I think we're better than most if we can get teams in 3rd and long. I'm not giving up on this team yet. I think this Cowboys team is a step above most of their other recent teams. This year I think anyone is beatable in the NFC.

I think the team expects the offense to be more consistent. As much as the defense failed us, the offense turned the ball over in the Redzone and could not get any first downs in the 4th quarter against the Packers. When we were up 28-14 I was thinking all we need was a few first downs and a field goal we win. We got neither.

The last 2 weeks the defence got shredded. Last week they got destroyed coming off a bye.

Here is the difference between Kansas City…KC has great coaching. I’m pretty sure Andy Reid would game plan for Mahommes absence? Did Quinn game plan for Parsons playing off the line? Sure did not look it?

And to me that’s the biggest problem with this team. Take Parsons away from D and our coaches have no ability to scheme around that…

A defense is either great or not depending on whether it can get off the field when needed

Taking one area of the defense and saying we’re great at it is useless

We have a garbage defense

Everytime we think there is finally a good defense in Dallas they blow it for one reason or another especially in a game where they should own the whole game. They've really been exposed all year in the run game anyways, so no one should be surprised that they aren't as great as all the talking heads made them out to be.

Its never apples to apples. The Packers D barely showed up last night. 2 games in 5 days. Tannehil had all day to throw the ball. He was sitting back there just hanging out, making throws. Wasnt that way in our game.

I like Tannehil, but he doesnt have games like that often.

Not hard to make a conclusion here. Tannehil's D outplayed the Cowboys D and that was the difference.
