Seems just a little low...Not to far off though.
I'm not happy with that stat so I found one that I could be happy with.
Points per game allowed.
The Baltimore Ravens are number #1 allowing 17.1 points per game.
The Dallas Cowboys are #2 allowing 17.6 points per game.
Suck it ...PFF....Go Cowboys
Can’t believe it but we are 19th in the league in sacks. Yuck
NFL Network: Cowboys are #2 & #3 in the other areas. Go for the ball, Hot Boys!!I'm not happy with that stat so I found one that I could be happy with.

That will change now that Cooper' on board.@LocimusPrime Why didn't you post this one... sheesh LOL
Defense is the only thing I feel good about on this team... Then you tried to ruin it.
like the idea a lot of Gallup, Cooper & Beasley. Now our TEs need help. They are really going to have to find a way to attack this way because Golden Tate with the Eagles has really tortured us. Having to face him twice in a year...That will change now that Cooper' on board.
The team's pass rush has been only mediocre after the first weeks, whereas it should have been consistent and one of the biggest strengths of this team.
Wouldn’t that just correlate with points allowed per game? We’re number 2 in points allowed and you posted #2 in points allowed per drive.Points per drive is the most important stat for me when talking about defenses. We are #2.
I thought Tate was an expiring contract....like the idea a lot of Gallup, Cooper & Beasley. Now our TEs need help. They are really going to have to find a way to attack this way because Golden Tate with the Eagles has really tortured us. Having to face him twice in a year...
yeah, saw that too....we need a few more sacks and we should see more Ints...Can’t believe it but we are 19th in the league in sacks. Yuck
If a team has an inept offense, their failure to keep the ball for long stretches means their opponents will have more drives and thus more opportunities to score. PPD rather than PPG does better to keep that offense problem out of the equation when evaluating the defense. (There will, of course, be some correlation since the number of drives per game doesn’t vary *that* much.)Wouldn’t that just correlate with points allowed per game? We’re number 2 in points allowed and you posted #2 in points allowed per drive.
Lemme take a while guess and say that Baltimore is number one in point allowed per drive and Tennessee is number 3, right?
I think they meant we face him twice this year.I thought Tate was an expiring contract....
....and that is what our anemic offense needs, short field starts off of turnoversOur defense is the bend don't break type right now. We're not giving up many points, but we're not taking the ball away either. We're middle of the pack in sacks and pass pressure. We're 5th worst in opposing QB's pass completion and QB rating, but 5th best in yards per completion. Teams are completing a bunch of passes, but we're not giving up the big passes. It's not the safety play that's holding the defense back, it's the lack of consistent pressure.
