Just seems like a lot of competition which will probably drive up the price.

It was tweeted that we didn't have reps there, but it wasn't a big deal. We are already comfortable with him. It all comes down to the $$$. Jerry apparently was wowed by OBJ's mother. Don't read too much into us not being there.

Our FO may suspect that they won't be able to outbid all the other teams for OBJ. Hence, due diligence with other teams, as well.

Maybe someone said they weren’t just to manufacture drama.
Lord knows there is always enough drama…

Maybe whoever made the tweet listing teams there didn’t recognize the guys who were representing the Cowboys? I don’t know.

But Tom Pellasaro and Ian Rappoport both mentioned on air Dallas being at the workout. Maybe they were wrong. Who knows?

MAYBE the Cowboys expect a bounce back year from Gallup, developing their two speed guys (Turpin and Fihoko), Tolbert, and drafting a guy.

Or maybe they’re eyeing another FA.
Or they could just feature lamb and pollard with a side of Turpin.

I'd give up a 2nd for DHop.

Dallas needs a WR that defenses will treat as a legit #1. Yes, Lamb improved, but Gallup regressed IMO. #3 WR was a weak point.

The only WRs I see in the 1st Round being able to have an immediate impact are Smith-Njigba (OSU) and Quentin Johnson (TCU)

This WR draft class isn't bad but I see a lot of #2 WRs.

For the two people that probably don’t care ; Panthers, Giants, Patriots, Rams, Cardinals, 49ers, Bills, Chiefs, Vikings, Browns, Jets and Ravens were represented at the workout.
Probably too much interest. Drives up the price, and the Joneses have shown they only want players when they are a bargain. They probably thought they had a shot of getting OBJ at a bargain price since he missed a year because of injury. They'll go back to waiting a few weeks until players end up on the clearance rack.

I think we'll add a free agent like Hilton again this year. We'll be looking for either proven vets who are on their last legs but may have a year or two left (Hilton) or younger players who've shown potential but not enough to get a big deal (Washington). This is their MO.

Perhaps they told him to find out his market and come back to them. Jerry even has spoken to his mom.
Agree 100% ........due diligence
Unless some team offers him crazy money, I think Jerry will match any reasonable offer. We need to remember, he's looking for a multi-year deal. I'm not sure he is getting more than two years of G-money from any team. How much? Spotrac puts his value at $13M...
