Cowboys Discussing Gurode?

Wasn't the plan to cut older, slower Players for younger newcomers ? Guess that trial is out the window, back to old fat players. Should have just kept him last season, but the o-line woes continue. I hate this.

Yeah, you missed something. Jerry said he didn't expect to see Nagy this year.

I don't really pay attention to Jerry because he says "well just because I said it doesn't make it so."

I missed that today in the PC, I started watching it a few minutes after it started.

Well I guess Gurode is looking like a possiblity more an more.

Anyways how did we have 4 centers get injured this season? That's some bad luck for sure. (I'm including Bernadeau)

Luck of the draw. At least nothing is season ending other than Nagy, who wasn't a lock to make the team anyway.

In a Cowboys related coincidence, the player who started in front of Bermadeau in Carolina and took Livings starting job in Cincinnati was lost for the season last night to an injury. Travelle Wharton is gone for 2012.

I'm all for it.

The problem I have with Gurode was they always said he struggled making all the line calls and he was always One of the guys getting confused on twists and stunts.

I actually hope another option is available.

Awesome. I've really missed those rainbow snaps.

I'd rather have Gurode's 6 bad snaps a season than Costa's 6 bad snaps per game.

It does not matter that he played here before because Callahan is all new terminology. He will have to learn it all over again.

He'll come back and will win a Super Bowl.

Yes, I'm serious.

I've been saying it for months that Gurode is our solution at center.

With the center position being depleted at the moment right now, I'm not surprised.

If this lower back injury for Costa lingers they will sign Gurode.

Eh, I think The Emperor was on to something. I seriously think this is the best move anyway. Gurode probably won't cost much and they can groom Costa as the season goes on. The problem with Costa is he got thrown to the wolves.

If healthy, he's definitely better than Costa.

I think the idea is he and Romo have some chemistry.

What are you talking about? Romo could have called for a fair catch on about half of Costa's snaps last season.

For whatever it's worth, Jerry is on record for saying they are not looking at any more interior players. I'm not certain I believe that or if that's true now it won't change depending on circumstances.
