It’s funny they were taking Oline no matter what it seems. Stephen is lousy

This is a bad pick. No contingency plan in place once their guys were off the board. The war room looked disinterested and they were trying to trade out and couldn’t find a partner— so they forced a pick on a project player when better players were on the board

Ugly. Disappointing. I hope the kid develops, but at #24– there were better options on the board.
So sorry to read this ,,, yuck

People complain we need a trenches pick, we either need to fix our run game or run defense and they do that and people are still upset. He is only 20 and will be an upgrade at guard day 1 and eventually replace Tyron at left tackle
This is desperation picking for need, it's how bad frsnchises are run.

This team doesn't like to draft conventional talent. The are always looking for projects that don't pan out.
It's because they want to say "Seeeeee, we told you" it's why we haven't had a qb taken above the 4th since quick carter

I don't hate this pick, I hate who they left out there. Smith as a guard won't be a bad thing at all but leaving Jermaine Johnson, Tyler Linderbaum, Nakobe Dean, and Devin Lloyd out there is a head scratcher.

I don't think Tyler Smith would be there at 56 but he's not a value at 24. Just....weird.
