I think this may be my best haul, and i'm hoping our actual draft falls as close to this as possible.

Dix would still be an upgrade over church with the ability to develop further. Idk about thomas, but since he was available in this simulator i figured i'd get him

Sorry, I would rather go DL 1st and maybe 2nd unless a McCarron or other good QB is available in the 2nd. Yes the secondary needs a little help we are very very weak on the front 7.

See, DL is important to me as well but i feel like we're going to keep some of the motley crew of d linemen we picked up over the season. some of them will provide quality depth and someone like selvie may even start, depending on what happens with spencer and ware. Safety has basically been a position of weakness since darren woodson retired.

DL is just so important to a 43 defense... I can't imagine us not using a first or a second on that position group. I do like Quarles but I think he goes in the 2nd at the latest.

As for last years "motley crew", I do think some of them will stick around as backups. Selvie in particular should stay. He would be a very solid backup SDE, but no way should he be starting. Give him about 10 snaps per game behind a good starter and you are ok on the strongside.

I think we probably go with a group of Crawford, Bass, and Selvie there at that end spot, with a chance of adding a higher round pick if things fall right in the draft (rounds 1-3).

We need a new DT desperately and we need two if Hatcher leaves (and I think he will).

Overall, DL is a mess and it is going to take a lot of work this offseason to get it even reasonably fixed.

Dix can't cover.

Did Logan Thomas declare? Last heard he was staying.

Logan Thomas was a Senior this season. Despite his deficiencies as a QB, some team will take a risk on him long before the 7th round imo.

I'd like that draft. I think Martin will be good for years to come. I like taking a safety high since we have been in desperate need of one since Woodson retired.
