I noticed one common just about every draft pick and even some of the Free Agents it that they all were team captains for their respective teams. I don't think it is by accident as much as it is about what Garrett has talked about in getting the right type of character as well as quality ball players.

Yes it has and while some do not think it means anything I tend to think it does. There are some guys who are gifted player who are not team captain. Pats have made it an issue to get quality player, smart guys who are self motivated and dedicated and most guys who are voted as team captain are just that. I think over the last couple of years our draft has improved and we are starting to accumulate some quality individual and smart players who are fully dedicated to being the best player they can be. Again no matter what Dallas does or what Garrett say the same group will come in and slam it. It is just how it is, I expect no different from them.

Again with the willful misunderstanding of what the right kinds of guys are. Crazy.

And there's a significant difference in the types if personalities we've brought in the last several years. We've brought in a couple guys with both attitude and a passion for football this weekend. Dixon being the most obvious example of that, probably. It's good to see, because that attitude is fun to see on defense.

Yeah, we did and to honest, those teams were better IMO. At least, personnel wise, they seemed to be better. We have basically been living off of those teams up until the last year or two. I don't have a problem with it but I do think you need to have a couple of buttheads around as well. Don't know why but it's a balance thing I guess.
