Is it me or does it seem when the Cowboys take injuries they are not spread out but always at one or 2 position where starter and backup end up being out?

This is pretty amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a team have so many injuries at one position group in a season. If we can sustain some type of respectable pass rush this coaching staff will deserve an award.

I was just talking about this the other day with a buddy of mine. I said, it wouldn't be so bad if we had 5 or 6 players out that were from different areas of the team, a OL, a DL, a LB, TE, etc.. but no.. we have 5 or 6 players out all from the same position group, the DL. Seems last year they were all interior OL, we were on our 4th C by opening night. I don't know how any team can prepare for that type of loss due to injury in one group of players. Just unreal.

same as years past. We did not just lose Lee last year we lost Carter then we lost backups. It seems each year some position is ravaged by injury not spread around to different positions

Evidently, it's terms of the contract. Always gotta read that fine print. When Jerry was at the Cross Roads, making the deal for our 3 championships, I'm guessing he probably didn't go over the terms as closely as he should have.

IDK.

Interesting player to use the designated to return distinction on, let's hope a contributor doesn't get hurt in the next couple weeks.

So we have another open roster spot then, I wonder if Chris Greenwood or David Carter are brought back. Or????

EDIT: Plus we have an open practice squad spot.

I don't expect that to happen, dealing out of desperation is a good way to get taken to the cleaners.

Agreed they need to hold the fort for.now. imnot even sure we could make a trade and still have emergency room

Doesn't matter really. Those gameday inactive spots are like having an IR from which players can return at any point

Or a good way to end up going from Jerry Jones Owner of the Dallas Cowboys to Jackie Moon, Owner of the Flint Tropics.

Is it wrong that I laughed when I read the title? Not because of the injury, just how when one position goes, it flies.

If it were just one injury or two I'd understand. We're dropping Dlineman at a fast rate. Even the guy we traded for is out now. I'm sure after this Sunday teams who are out of it may be more inclined to get rid of some players.

Hint: JJ, make a trade! We need a Dlineman!

The trade deadline is not until October 29th. After Houston loses two more games before the trade deadline, maybe they will be interested in trading their roid rager J.J. Watt. :D

Does anyone recall the term for the conditional pick we sent to the Chefs for him?
