Some of the loudest Cowboys home games have been against the Eagles. That Monday Night game in 2007? when TO and Felix Jones had those long TDs was really loud (Texas Stadium). The 2009 season finale followed by the playoff game at Cowboys Stadium, both against the Eagles, were both really loud. Now that they've started towel waving at AT&T, maybe the Cowboys can get early momentum and keep the crowd involved. That would be an ideal situation.
Yep no doubt. That 08 mnf game was amazing. One of my favorite games I have ever attended.
The 05 game where parcells let Payton loose and we blew them out at Texas stadium was fantastic too, ware sacked mcnabb on the first play on defense, hist first snap against mcnabb ever! and the 03 game when Randall Williams returned the onsides kickoff to start the game was pretty great also.
On the flip side, the 2006 Xmas day game against Philly at Texas stadium was one of the worst games, crowd was too cold to make noise, offe se was stuck in the mud and we lost the game and the division essentially to Jeff Garcia.
The 07 game with Westbrook lying down at the one and romo hitting his thumb was awful too especially since the Giants did not know to stop us on offense until they saw the eagles do it during that game and copied it during the playoff game.
But nothing tops the 04 mnf game. The mcnabb scramble is a horrible memory.
