I need me one big FA. Oliver Vernon or a really good safety

Sign me up for George Iloka...that kid was solid here @ BSU.....and he just keeps getting better. Considering how much Church is worth...if you cut him..and bring in Iloka...I don't think your breaking the bank..and your up grading. ;)

Janoris Jenkins is already complaining that the Rams are low balling him. I can only imagine what HE thinks his market value is.

Yup...He's trying to make up the $$$ he lost in the draft....Wouldn't shock me he's one of the last guys to sign...just because he's holding out for the big contract.

Agreed, can and want are two different things that the FO likes to blend the two together as to not look complacent.

Cut Carr and Church
Restructure TSmith and TCrawford

4 easy moves and DAL is 37m under the cap

I think we can get some bargain signings this year. There are a lot of ok FA out there that are obvious upgrades.

Don't you know? We are going to restructure any and every contract we can, cut 4 or 5 players, and go into the draft having signed Oliver Vernon, trumaine johnson, Lamar miller, Alshon Jeffrey, Muhammad Wilkerson, and Eric Berry. Pff bargain free agents. The posters on here already have it figured out. We don't need any bargains. We dem Boyz.

Its much better to do nothing and keep losing for another 20 years

But JJones appreciates your patience and your lack of vision

Then start who at safety Wilcox or heath? I'm not sure about that. Cutting Carr would also give us 6-7 million in dead money . The easiest thing to do would just be to restructure Smith and Dez .

Tell that to DEN that just went on a huge FA spending spree and won the SB after just missing in 2014.

That's a good point but what about the rest of the playoff teams in the league that weren't players in free agency? In that same span the Eagirls have been big players in free agency and have NOTHING to show for it.

Jones and a free agent/draft pick, solid group of safeties in this year's class.

Madden is a fun game. Anyways I have seen you be one of the biggest Bandon Carrs haters on this board if not the biggest. What if we get into another Carr situation? What if Trumaine Johnson is this year's Byron Maxwell? Big corner who played #2 corner with an elite pass rush? What if Janoris Jenkins benefited just as much from an amazing passrush? What about these teams with already huge amounts of cap without having to cut or restructure one player? What if they are willing to give good players elite money? The money has to be spent on players or you lose it anyways. This doesn't even include the big name players who will have the Franchise tag slapped on them. But please keep telling everyone how we can walk away with 2 or 3 pro bowl/ all pro players this offseason. Just like your ideas last year on how we could have gotten both Greg Hardy and Ndamukong Suh in free agency.

I've never played Madden but that is a cute story you created. I would rather the Cowboys spend their money on players and not art.

I watch real football and I know that Carr is and was one the worst contracts in sports.

I wouldn't spend any big money on CBs. They already have BJones and OScan and Mitchell and Olatoye.

I think we both sort of know though that they aren't releasing Church. His salary isn't bad especially for a starter. Wilcox is the weak link in the secondary. Or the weakest one anyway.

It is amazing how awesome and deep our team is. No one can get cut. Especially not the overpaid and underachieving.

Well sense you watch real football, then you should know by now just signing big name players does not = winning. For Every Broncos their are is a Philly dream team or a Miami Dolphins who has spent huge in free agency for the last 3 offseasons and is still picking in the top 10. And now the Dolphins are scrambling to keep just 1 of its big names while having to let the others go. Let's continue to be smart with our cap. Splurge a little more then usual but going your route could screw us just as bad as picking out of the bargain bin.

At least they tried.

You have to pick the right players whether you draft, use free agency or re-sign your own guys.

DAL is close to the 89% spending floor. That is embarrassing for a team with 620m in revenues. Way to use that cash advantage.

Don't get me wrong. I understand where you are always coming from with spending big in fa but it is also very dangerous. We need to go for scheme fits who wont break the bank instead of big names. Instead of Danny trevathan let's go after Derrick Johnson who the Chiefs most likely will have to let walk. Instead of Muhammad Wilkerson let's get a much cheaper Brandon Mebane. Instead of Oliver Vernon let's go after Robert Ayers and/or William Hayes who would be cheaper combined and won't get long contracts. This is what Pats do. This is what the Packers do. This is what the Steelers do. Now I know these teams draft better but that could be due to better coaches who can actually develop a 2nd,3rd, 4th, etc round pick. We need better coaches more then talent because we have plenty of talent.

People can and will get cut. But you can't release 50 players in a offseason like you guys want to do. That's how we got into this mess at defensive end as it is. Releasing Ware prior to having his replacement. Now we are left settling for the Greg Hardy's of the world and hoping they get it.
