Exactly. Disastrous selection. What a damn waste of a pick - the problem with all of this is half the board could see this coming the second we drafted the bum.

To support your false claims about "half the board" so you can try to feel better about this colossal screwup.
Please don't let anyone in the division claim him. Trade him anywhere else for 2021 conditional 7th to keep this from happening.
I didnt say I felt good about anything...without a real search engine here thats more time than I want to spend...are you saying more than half the board wanted these guys where they were picked, you included? Where your link?
Exactly. Disastrous selection.
And Gavin Escobar too!
This is going to be one of those baseball trades.
Opposing team gets : Taco, 6th round pick, we pay the remainder of his salary
Cowboys get : 7th round pick
True, but half the board didnt see Frederick, Martin, Dak, Jaylon coming either...you cant knock them all out of the park.
How is a 24 year old 4-3 defensive end with his pedigree and 3 years of control not tradeable? This front office is a joke if they don't find a trade partner.
Escobar was more a scheme issue than being a draft mistake.
Even if you count him, Escobar and Chaz Green are the only other draft mistakes until Taco - and with those guys we got steals like Dak Prescott and Anthony Brown. You have to go back ten years to really find a bad draft.
I'm not saying you are an idiot, I'm saying this is an idiotic statement. Teams have seen the same thing we have, Taco isn't very good. So I doubt there was much demand for him. Most teams would rather take a chance after he is cut. If they get him good, if not no big deal. Either way they don't use a draft pick. How is a 24 year old 4-3 defensive end with his pedigree and 3 years of control not tradeable? This front office is a joke if they don't find a trade partner.
Not picking a fight, but there is a world of difference in "not hitting them all out of the park" and having to waive a first round pick after two years because no one will even trade a conditional 7th for him.
This is a monumental whiff. Monumental.
And to think someone thought he made more sense than TJ Watt.
If this truly was a Marinelli call, well, that's an anchor around his neck (and now ours).
Truly a pathetic pick.

To be fair half the board hates every pick the Cowboys make. If the general consensus of the board was our GM we'd be worse off by a country mile. What a damn waste of a pick - the problem with all of this is half the board could see this coming the second we drafted the bum.
est we forget what that bastion of truth, Jerry Jones, said about Taco only yesterday. Oh what a difference a day makes in Jerry's World...
That was pretty funnyEnd of an inactive era.
All the teams had to do is watch his professional tape and ignore his college tape. Blows that pedigree out of the water. How is a 24 year old 4-3 defensive end with his pedigree and 3 years of control not tradeable? This front office is a joke if they don't find a trade partner.
Sorry, but that doesn't erase one of the biggest busts in team history that we're watching happen today.
I'm saying your claim is false. Back it up. Substantiate the false claim you're trying to make so you can feel better.
