I don’t recall that game off hand . But it sounds like an attempt to defuse the argument instead of addressing it.
It was week 11 I believe. All it means is that you can have bad games during the regular season. A lot of super bowl winners have really bad losses in the regular season.

Another OP said we need to move Micah to LB most of the time and I agree. He is valuable there and we need help in the position.

This doesn't mean he can't occasionally move down on the line or blitz. Just have him back there.

Yes, but that’s a general comparison not directly pertaining to this team and era. Perhaps it even makes you feel better.

But for this team this is more than one bad loss this season as such. And this team has had a history of giving up big rushing yards in signature road losses. All with never having the success in comparison to the championship team.

Yea, Parsons has become a one dimensional pass rusher. Too often on the sidelines when not in obvious passing situations. If he ever truly wants to be compared to some of the great LB’s he needs to become a force in stopping the run as well.

Dallas knows how teams will try and prevent our deepest run in the playoffs—attack our run defense .

The 266 yards rushing for Buffalo were the most since 2020, the year before Quinn arrived and fixed one of the worst defensive units in franchise history.

For all of the progress the Cowboys have made under Quinn with turnovers and sacks , stopping the run has been a problem.

With the playoffs approaching the issue that has been among the most glaring in Quinn’s 3 seasons was once again a big problem in Buffalo.
This has been “exposed” for several years now.

Hankins will be back for the playoffs if not before.
However his playing time may be decided if the seeding is not set by then.
Thing is, the Bills were killing Dallas by running on the edges. They averaged 8 yards a pop going left. Hankins can't do much about that.

Hankins also played in the Arizona and San Fran games. I wish it was just a Hankins thing.

Yea, it’s a multi facet problem for us . Including with the offense starting slow and getting behind .

No doubt it’s the best route . Although 2 home games is very unlikely. We’d have to win out , Phi need to lose one more and SF 2 more.
We would get two (as the 2nd seed) if we win the WC and would play in the Divisional at home as well. HFA is over unless Balty wins and somehow the Rams do as well. Having said that if the Rams beat them I want no part of them the 2nd go around!

This is 110% on Dan Quinn. He forces the Cowboys to draft tall, defensive backs in the late rounds, trying to re-create the Legion of boom, and none of them have panned out. They all suck.
If we flop again this year, Dan Quinn can pack his backward hats.
Give it to Al Harris

Most tall DB's don't mirror well. It worked w/ SEA because lost in all the silly Legion of Boom stuff was the fact that the Seachickens had one of the best DL's in the NFL, complete w/ around 4-5 DT's that all could've started for most teams. That D fell back to earth when they started paying the DB's and had to let the DT's walk to do so. Funny thing is, exact same thing happened to us after our super bowls when we had to let key contributors walk such as Jimmie Jones, Tony Casillas, Norton, and Jeffcoat.
