How strange to see this kind of tone from the hometown media.

Not for Atlanta.

They are like that. They go crazy when they win and become completely apathetic when they lose. It is a stark constrast with Dallas', who are mild when winning, but intensely angry and disappointed when they don't.

Atlanta is a horrible sports city and what some local columnist has to say is hardly worth a passing glance let alone feeling disrespected by.

The notion all week has been the cowboys got it all wrong with romo and the falcons got it all right with ryan. I was assuming that could be figured out with actually saying it.

Just pointing out that it's more evidence of what a negative cesspool the DFW media group is. SP nailed it.

I said in my first post I was reading the ajc. I didnt say here are the articles. The thread title was the head to head stats matchup. I was assuming we were adults and could go to the paper and read it.

Sorry, but your first post wasn't clear. Especially since you posted a link about stats, to which you referred to, but nothing about where you got your opnion. Not even a quote from the article. It's not about being an adult, it's about not assuming people can read your mind.

A good rule of thumb so that one isn't challenged on a source is to provide a link...or something to note where you got your info from.

And I dont get pissy everytime, that is BS from you, I was speaking to one person not you and an annoying thing that happens constantly.

Again it's an open forum and anyone on here can chime in...even me.

nor was I. I actually have been saying all week how this is setup great for us. Everythign we could want to go for us since that win over KC has. The media in atlanta, the national media and their fans thinking they are going to win easily is great for our team.

its an unsual position and a great one to be in. Especially now that this team has some guys speaking up in the locker-room.

this can all be a unifying thing for this team. Apparently not for the fans though, instead of finding something to rally around which is nice for a change, its.....overactive imagination. I dont know why I even responded to either of them, I will just stick to responding to the people here I like.

I did post a link, to the AJC. I didnt put the stats up because of the tables and I wasnt going to post the links to the columns and blog entries because they are on the same site.

and whatever with the oversensitivity stuff. I simply responded why everything has to be documented and cited. If that is what you call that good for you. I will make sure every post I have in the future will look like a book report from the 6th grade.

So like I told CL, I will just stick to talking and responding to the people I like.

That's about the best way to describe the team. Capable of beating pretty much anyone and equally capable of losing to anyone as well. Usually that kind of Jeckyl and Hyde team is at five hundred when the dust settles and is scratching their heads in disbelief wondering what went wrong.

This team has quite a bit of talent, but they lack leadership and discipline.

They are talented enough to be competitive in every game but eventually, bad coaching and a locker room devoid of leadership could cost them close games.
