Cowboys fans hit with major price increase attending AT&T

They clearly didn't mind watching opposing fans fill the stadium when the team struggled lately. I don't blame fans for selling their tickets and recouping some money on the secondary market when it costs so much to buy season tickets and attend the games and the product on the field is sub-par. Most saw an embarrassing amount of opposing fans at the games. Jerry just saw dollar signs and people willing to show up and line his pockets some more. Next year maybe he ups the amount of opposing team swag on sale...
The GB playoff game was the final straw for me.

yeah the jones family could care less if fans from other teams fill the seats just as long as there are no empty seats.

Between Cowboys fans and the Seattle mob last night looked like a sellout on television . That Seattle stadium where the seats go straight up quite the architectural job looks like all seats are good seats . They didn’t mention any art gallery though imagine that .

Well, that was first time fans could see their SB Champs . And weather is nice in Seattle in August.

And the ticket price is just part of the problem. Concession prices are inflated and just to park your freaking car costs you. No thanks, all this is not worth it. Rather just watch them choke from the comfort of my couch.

Youre just not very smart if you pay that much to attend football games. Luckily there are plenty of dumb people in this country to keep the stadiums filled.

The Cowboys return to the field Saturday night against the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks , but fans planning a trip to AT&T Stadium this season could face a significantly higher bill.

A new analysis estimates that a family of four attending a Cowboys game in 2026 could spend $1,685.15 for tickets, food, drinks and parking. That’s an 18.6% increase from the estimated $1,421.31 cost in 2025.

The increase follows significant upgrades to AT&T Stadium ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and a new long-term agreement that will keep the Cowboys in Arlington through at least 2055.

well, cowboys about to hit 18B market value next year. and record profits.

Can some one break it down to me. So tax payers pay for the stadium and then the team just rakes in the cash or how does it work?

I wouldn’t call that being exploited. It’s a value decision. A person “demanding the full experience” is simply valuing something at a greater level than others. Anutter person might value something else greater that others would consider being exploited.
It's exploitation. When a movie theater charges a ridiculous price for a smoothie or popcorn, it's designed to empty the pockets of a "captive" audience. The same is true of those who want the full package...they charge up to what they think people will pay...which is over and above what the same exact meal or parking would cost in most venues.

The community benefits with all of the additional revenue from hotels, eateries, etc not to mention addition in employment and sales tax revenue .

And in some cases tax payers aren’t burdened or as much with bulk of the increased taxes levied at hotels

Been there....will never return. Was just a joke of an atmosphere. High pressure sales everywhere...The tailgating experience outside of the stadium was non-existent. The official store to get gear....Lol. I'm not spending 100.00 for pair of sweat pants. And not joking...Jerry waters down his liquor. You would think @ least you would get a fair deal with the prices you are paying....Not even. The inequality in the work staff was unbelievable. Just rude people everywhere...Unable to explore the stadium. The seating in the stadium sucks. You literally end up watching the damn jumbo tron because you can barely see the players on the field. Worst game day experience I ever had....College or Pro. Infact it was probably the worst experience I've ever had in any kind of event with high expectations. I can see why people quit going to the training camp....The word is out.
