Cheering for a loss, i'm guilty.

In 1988 i was cheering like mad when the scores rolled in and i saw that Green Bay had somehow won their final game of the season at Phoenix, which combined with the Cowboys loss (which i was unabashedly cheering for) the same day, gave us the 1st pick in the draft and Troy Aikman.

Green Bay got the 2nd pick, a set of steak knives (Tony Mandarich).

You should become a Cleveland Browns fan. They invest heavily into this theory. I expect them to start dominating the NFL soon.
Most teams have an up and down cycle. Their down cycle help most of them win a championship unless they are just a stupidly run organization.

Jerry insists on trying to get to .500 to remain relevant. We have about 30 years of that now. How well is that working for us?

The same people here that want to prioritize winning are some of the same people that whine that nothing ever changes.

It’s not random that the last year we drafted really high (Zeke draft class) we really improved our talent level.

Arguably none of the 92. 93, or 95 SBs happen without Troy Aikman who was taken #1 overall.

The same people who complain that Jerry won’t spend enough in free agency are the same people who say that you can win while drafting lower in the draft. While that’s true you can also say you can win without signing free agents.

Yes, it makes it much harder to win without adding free agents just like it is harder to win when you draft lower in the draft due to a lack of talent infusion.

The Cowboys need a complete reset. It’s time for a new influx of hungry talent.

If we had an absolute elite state-of-the-art front office capable of making the absolute most out of a draft I might think it worth it to tank the season after a bad start.

But we have the polar opposite we have a front office that can take high draft picks and just absolutely squander them on head cases dope addicts injured players and flat out busts.

So in the case of the Dallas Cowboys I say go all out and try and win games go Cowboys!!!!!
