First Williams, then Weeden and now the leader of the OL with excuses

Stop it already
Can someone with a backbone step up and take responsibility ?

Unfortunately. that someone who always shoulders the blame (even when it's not his fault) is standing on the sideline and won't be back until after week 10. Until then, these other players who aren't used to shouldering the blame will need to step up on the field, or step up to the mic and explain why they screwed up.

something is not right with Martin.. i think his neck might be effecting him more than he is letting on

the media and coaches don't want to talk about it. I agree something is clearly not right with him. Last year he just blended in and just did his job. This year I am like "who is the big guy who looks likes like he can't turn his head". His stiff neck in way makes him look taller..thats why he is standing out to me as he goes to line pre-snap.

You tell that filthy bum to stop patting himself on the back and quit slacking off. We require complete and total dominance from the OL. Something we aren't getting this season!

What does Bill Parcells have to do with our O line? Is he still coaching? He was 34-32 with the Cowboys so I am not sure how this applies.

Christ, google it up or ask the preppie next to you...

Cowboys Frederick thinks OL has 'shown some good things'

Cowboys center Travis Frederick thinks the offensive line has displayed some positives three weeks into the regular season.

"I think that we've shown some good things," Frederick said Wednesday. "We, I think, have improved from last year in certain areas and showed areas that we need to improve on."

One area would be pre-snap penalties. Dallas is tied with Oakland for the most false starts with nine, more than halfway towards matching their 2014 total of 17.

"Pre-snap penalties are things we need to avoid and continue to work on," said Frederick.

In the preseason, the offensive line got little work together as right guard Zack Martin sat out the entire preseason with a neck stinger, and left tackle Tyron Smith saw limited action as well. Week One against the Giants was the unit's first time working together in 2015, and they helped quarterback Tony Romo engineer a 27-26 comeback victory. However, Romo broke his collarbone on a sack-fumble the next week in Philadelphia where the offensive line also took part in six pre-snap penalties. Nonetheless, Frederick doesn't believe the lack of preseason time together has been detrimental...

I do think Fredrick is right. And i think its unfair to measure the OL only by their run blocking.

Last year they were great at it but they were medicore in pass protection and especially bad against the blitz.

This year they really improved in pass protection. In fact they are really good at it (not to say excellent at times) and they are good against the blitz.
Run blocking is a concern but its not like they are bad at it. They are still good they are just not as dominating as last year.

But overall i think they are playing better then last year.

oh that is BS. If there was something to talk about it would have happened by now. The way the mediots will just about make things up in order to get attention says it all. If there was more to Martin's injury it would be out there by now.

Bill Parcels would have been too busy looking for his next job. I don't get the love for him considering he was average at best while here was here. oh, and you misspelled it, I would be considered a prepper not a preppie...whatever that is. I am not saying our O line is great because it's not been up to par lately.

BP is in the HOF. what are you? If you cannot see the changes that he brought to the Boys then you truly are clueless.

It is as good as most of us thought it was- not all world but very good and looking to get a lot better. Last year it was superb in Run blocking and only good in Pass blocking. This year the pass blocking is better but the run blocking is not.

IIRC Frederick trimmed his beard this year. Probably why he isn't playing up to his usual high level

He brought in a decent sense of discipline that is outdated because today's millennial's do not respond to his type of coaching. He did bring in a coaching tree that did help right the ship. However, he brought in the 3-4 D that took us way too long to bring in players for. He ostracized TO from the start instead of actually coaching him. He called him "the player." TO is a huge diva but he still produced and under the right leadership style there is a possibly that TO could have been kept under control...but maybe not. Just like Jimmy, BP achieved success in a different time and it's not relevant to what is going on now because things have changed. This NFL does not look like it used to. Which I think isn't good for the sport but like you said, I am clueless and know nothing about anything...

Let's give the OL a chance to get some solid footing this year before we decide to assume they're toast. It's not too difficult to realize that things haven't gone their way in TC with injuries having hampered their progress. I'm expecting them to return to their former ways, given the opportunity to overcome their physical woes and return to good health.

your last sentence is just so accurate that there is nothing more to say. B y the way BB is coaching exactly the same way BP did and you did not notice? Now of course the cheating makes a difference....

I think so too. I had some nerve damage and lost about 60% strength in my left shoulder and arm. It's almost been a year ( going to chiropractor and therapy ) it's almost at 85% pre injury strength.

I think that " stinger" he got has has resulted in some nerve impingement
