Cowboys | Free agents allowed to test free agency
Wed, 25 Feb 2009 14:32:12 -0800 Josh Ellis, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys will allow all of their unrestricted free agents to test the free-agent market.
That's a lot of rosters spots. I have a hard time believing they will all be filled by rookies. I also don't believe they will all be back. Jerry can't tell me he's not planning on making more then a few FA signings.

According to KFFL these are Dallas' UFAs (please correct list if wrong)

Brooks Bollinger - QB
Tony Curtis - TE
Cory Proctor - OL
Joe Berger - OL
Stephen Bowen - DL
Chris Canty - DL
Tank Johnson - DL
Kevin Burnett - LB
Carlos Polk - LB
Zach Thomas - LB
Keith Davis - SS

RFA's
Miles Austin - WR
Sam Hurd - WR

Of that list I think Canty, Bowen, Burnett and Davis are the guys I'd like to see get re-signed along w/ Austin (since it appears Johnnie Lee Higgins is stuck in Oakland)

By not resigning, Jerry is creating cap space for the 2010 Lebron James bonanza...
