Keith Davis is signing with KC

Cowboys did match the Kevin Burnett/SD contract but Kevin decided to go to SD anyway.

Why would Burnett come back? We signed two ILB's and obviously he would not start. Dallas should of offered that money to start with.

I guess he wants to be the outright starter.... He must be upsed that we signed Brooking. i mean what do you expect he doesnt stay on the field for 16 games.

He shouldve been grateful that they matched.

Gonna miss Killa on special teams, and Burnetts athleticism when healthy.

I have no problems with Kevin taking the money in San Diego for a chance to start. I'm sad that we're losing Davis though. I'd have like to have kept him.

I really thought we would not lose Davis and of all the losses we have had so far in FA,losing Davis is the one that pisses me off.

Good riddance on Burnett. He's weekly blogs wre rediculous and showed how he was more unfocused than he could have been on the team. And his play on the filed was marginal.

Everyone says Burnett was a great special teamer also. Really? I often saw him on the wrong side of plays, contributing to a bad unit overall.

I'm also not crushed that we're losing Keith Davis. While one one hand I see him as the only good special teamer we had (aside from the kicker and punter of course), it's time to clean house on that unit all around - especially now that we have a new coach heading these units.

In a previous thread he said he didnt want to talk about the Cowboys and that it was time for him to move on. Maybe I was reading between the lines butI just didnt like the comment. If he was able to stay healthy and show that he could be the starter Dallas would not have let him go.

Killa is like having a 21 year old kid.. Just when you think they out the house for good... They come back...

I'm curious as to how much money K Davis got from KC?

I don't think we were going to offer much more than the vet minimum, according to one of the Cowboys' beat writers.

I used to cringe when he'd have to sub for Roy. Now I'm sorry to see him go. Life is funny that way.

He will rue the day he signed with SD....J/K....
Can't blame him, he will get his chance to prove he can be a starting LB and go to a very good team that will most likely be in the playoffs again, and possibly a SB contender. Since they will have Marriman back healthy, and LT back at 100%.

It's time to move forward from the Keith Davis/Roy Williams type at safety.

KD was partly responsible for that fiasco against the Ravens in the final minutes with his ****ty angles -- which has always been his modus operandi.

I'd say Hamlin was the much bigger culprit, but whatever. Can't change the past.

I'm not saying he wasn't, but Davis had his part in that too-- And it wasn't the first time Davis has taken a lousy angle which resulted in a long-gainer.
