The World Cup is kinda a big deal. Its a huge coupe for Dallas and ATT stadium to land it.

The interesting thing for football is that ATT has to have a grass field to host. So, its possible that in 2026, the Cowboys will play on grass.

Not just any grass, but that soft fluffy kind the NFL never uses. But I hope they do go to grass and not try some temporary fix.

Jerry is no GM. He is a deal maker. The Dallas Cowboys don't have a GM.

Jerry Jones has been the owner of the Dallas Cowboys for 33 years. After buying the team in 1989 for $150 million, Jones’ marketing wizardry has transformed the Cowboys into the most valuable franchise in sports, coming in at $5.7 billion as of this writing.

Jones is a Hall of Fame owner, and deservedly so, as he’s become involved in some of the biggest money-making deals in NFL history. Jones got involved in contract talks for NFL broadcasting rights that saw TV networks get into bidding wars, including the beginning of FOX Sports now airing NFC football games. These days, everyone wants a piece of that and the competition is fierce.

Jones is also the founder of Legends, a project management business that is responsible for some of the most glorious (and revenue-generating) football stadiums in the league. The Ram’s So-Fi Stadium and the Raiders Allegiant Stadium are examples, and they just struck a deal in April to work on the new Buffalo Bills stadium. Make no mistake about it, Jerry Jones is a marketing genius.

Jerry is always looking to make money. It's more important than Cowboys success.

The Cowboys are probably third or fourth on his priority list.

The World Cup is played around June/July. The grass will be long gone when football season starts.

Jerry is a businessman and brilliant one at that.

You are an internet troll.
A real brilliant businessman would realize that having massive success on the field would result in way more money.

But I guess not getting past the divisional rounds of the playoffs for over 25 years is all part of the brilliance.

Jerry Jones is not in charge of personnel acquisition. What exactly is Stephen Jones doing as his father negotiates these business dealings? His job as he always says is a 365 day a year process.

Jerry Jones a 27 losing GM is once again displaying his GM skills by throwing the roster in the trash and proceeding to go watch soccer.

Any fan supporting and not condoning this action are not real Cowboys fans to me.

Another soccer hater with an agenda! Lol just kidding. World cup is a big deal and outside of the US soccer is bigtime. It's a great game that is a building foundation for many sports because of the footwork involved.
