Ferguson definitely needs to clean it up. Dak has been signing his praises and is counting on him to be his chain moving security blanket and to have a big year. If he loses confidence in him, it could snowball into a host of other issues like Dak holding the ball too long or forcing it to the WRs even if they arent open. I think he will be fine. One drop was him taking his eye off the ball to turn up field. That can be easily corrected. The other was kind of an akward catch. It certainly was catchable and should have been caught but it wasnt in the perfect spot for an easy catch.

Cowboys are in some pretty prestigious company on that list: Chiefs and Bengals are only 1 dropped pass back, and neither of those teams played played with buckets of water being dumped on their heads all night.

I hope the idea of drops doesn't become a thinly veiled Dak discussion all year with the two sides arguing over whether every incompletion was a drop or a bad throw. It was a tough night for QBs and receivers to do their thing IMO

Was really disappointed in Ferguson and Hendershot. Everyone’s been talking Ferguson up and he didn’t come through in the receiving game last night. Both players are being given a great opportunity and need to step up.

Cowboys "Dropped" 40 on the Gnats anything else can be worked out and improved upon. This game was about the Dallas Defense.

Is the point WINNING , or Dak's statline? If Dak averages 24 att a Game and we win the Super Bowl. I'll take it

One Glaring Shiny thing your missing......................................

Thunderstorm !!!!!!
I'm not missing anything. You are completely missing the point.

Dak had 24 attempts. 4 drops.
Stroud had 44 attempts. 4 drops.
Mahomes has 39 attempts. 3 drops.
Stafford at 38 attempts. 3 drops.
Burrow had 31 attempts. 3 drops.
Jones had 54 attempts. 3 drops.
Howell had 31 attempts. 3 drops.
Fields had 37 attempts. 3 drops.
Need I go on???

That's why I said, what really makes this worse for the Cowboys is the fact Dak only had 24 attempts.

The attempt/drop ratio was far bigger for the Cowboys than any other team.

Who cares about Dak's "dismal stats"? Stats, stats, stats...!

40-0...there is your real stat.
Some ppl are addicted to defending Dak and making comments about why his stats weren't stellar. It's a new day, Defense runs the show and #11 is Star of the team. Dak doesn't have to be Superman, it's ok.
