two by ferguson. he better correct that. he was targeted 7 times, made 2 catches for 11 yards. perhaps his role was better off as the 2nd TE, given as the first TE debut hasn't been good. he often draws the TE1 coverage.

Hendershot wasn't much better.

at some point we have to see what this kid Schoonmaker is got.
10-4 on seeing what Schoonmaker's got.

They're an indoors team. This is the problem you have when playing indoors most the time.

Playing in the rain sucks, especially if you're not used to it.

The good news is the running game was enough and no turnovers. Rain or not, Dak was protected. Even though some passes were off, we saw Jones completely struggle the entire game. The only time I remember Jones being able to breathe was when Parsons was pouting on the sideline

Yep. Those drops also contributed to Dak's dismal stats, especially considering 2 of those drops should have been easy TD catches.
Was that Hendershot that dropped a TD pass? Then the other TE dropped what would have been a 1st down and possibly a TD.

Ferguson and Hendershot are midwestern kids. This should be normal lol

the weather was a huge factor. The litmus test is next week vs the Jets.

Some ppl are addicted to defending Dak and making comments about why his stats weren't stellar. It's a new day, Defense runs the show and #11 is Star of the team. Dak doesn't have to be Superman, it's ok.
I'll tell you something I saw last night? This team on both sides play fast! And last night they showed what they are.

Dak took care of the ball, was one of the most important things he did.

Look the TE's had a rough go in the rain, for sure they need to fix it but if thats are only problem from last nite we are good.
I've seen enough Hendershot. His drop problem go back into last season.

100% agree with this, excellent summation. No turnovers for Dak is THE stat.

Was really disappointed in Ferguson and Hendershot. Everyone’s been talking Ferguson up and he didn’t come through in the receiving game last night. Both players are being given a great opportunity and need to step up.
Already ready for Schoonmaker to be the #1.

Pretty sure Jones took more sacks than he had completions in the 1st half :)

I'd consider the weather. They did miss opportunities though, no question.

The weather played a part in it, but Ferguson had one drop that was inexcusable. Could have led to a big play and at least a first down.
