I believe this will play a factor along with the return of Gregory on the DL, as well as the potential return of Dez, along with a possible change at QB. Not to mention, Dallas is due to get off the schnide and get a W against a division rival.

Add in that the Giants will be coming off a division rival game on the road in Philly with Beckham and Randle nursing hamstring injuries.

If we win this Giants game it'll be huge obviously for the sake of our record, but mainly for our confidence. If Cassell comes in there and does enough to get a win, our team will likely get behind him and play better as a whole until Romo gets back. A 4th straight loss, and this time to a division rival, would be devastating. Especially because the Giants are probably the biggest threat to win the division at this point.

Wonder what our gameplan will be lol...

Run on 1st and when bringing Witten in motion. Dink and Dunk until it works or hope for the defense to create a scoring opportunity. Unless Matt Cassell plays, then the Cowboys will likely play to win. But who really knows at this point.

Seems like an opportune time to make at change at the QB position.

No excuse for being unprepared.

Exactly. If the Offense and Defense don't play sound football (win or lose), then it has to be on the coaches and their inability to prepare/gameplan when given 2 weeks for their #1 opponent.

What's it going to be then, eh?

One they should know very well also.

I don't care who starts at qb, I mean I hope it's Cassel. But what would really tickk me off is if our darn coaching staff come out with some horrible game plan and playcalling. What's the deal with these guys? Even when Romo was out there the playcalling was horrid. It took Romo Magic and his own calls to score twice to beat the giants.

this game is very winnable. If we are not prepared and up for this game, then I will begin to wonder about ol' Red and his future here.

As for turnovers claimed by our D, Eli is good for about 2 ints. a game. We must turn these into easy points with a short field.

I think we're the ones who gave them three week 1. Can't count on anything.

Having extra time to game plan for an opponent is a nice advantage when that team is not in your division. It still helps but a divisional foe will minimize that advantage and don't forget, they are at home.

The Giants will be tough, regardless, because it's not only a division game and rival but they realize what this could mean for their chances of winning the East long term.

Beating us then would put us in a whole lot of trouble for the remainder of the year.

Our one chance left to leave this team in contention when Romo returns is for this team to win 3 of the next 4 and two of those wins must include wins over the Giants and the Eagles.

Our next 4 games are winnable, Giants, Eagles, Bucs and Seahawks. We could easily end the stretch at 3-1.
