Having extra time to game plan for an opponent is a nice advantage when that team is not in your division. It still helps but a divisional foe will minimize that advantage and don't forget, they are at home.

True. But a big advantage is the QB controversy. They have no tape on Cassell. Another is the preparation they will need to deal with Hardy. Also the 3-2-6 look will play into their preparation as well.

And hopefully the Eagles beat them up a bit.

Our next 4 games are winnable, Giants, Eagles, Bucs and Seahawks. We could easily end the stretch at 3-1.

How can we honestly look at games at this point and say yup this is entirely winnable. Dude the saints were a gimmie game and we blew that.

Even if the circumstances were reversed...this is simply a game we must win.

Having a virtual 1 game advantage vs the Giants for the rest of the season would be enormous. Same goes for the Eagles. In fact, they could lose to Tampa and Seattle and be in great shape if the games went down like that.

A healthy D also add in the fact none of those teams are stable. We just need to get our offense working. I really want Moore and Cassel to battle for the starting gig instead of giving it to the guy JJ traded picks for.

I believe this will play a factor along with the return of Gregory on the DL, as well as the potential return of Dez, along with a possible change at QB. Not to mention, Dallas is due to get off the schnide and get a W against a division rival.

Add in that the Giants will be coming off a division rival game on the road in Philly with Beckham and Randle nursing hamstring injuries.

It may but don't pencil in a W just yet...

Fortunately for Cassel and the C'boys, the Giants have a poor secondary and will be coming off a short week after playing Philly. The timing and circumstances are just about as favorable as we might expect on the road. With a bye, we'll also have two weeks to heal and get some of our returning injured players ready to compete.

New Orleans was a winnable game. It went to overtime for goodness sakes. Kind of the definition of winnable.
