Love the back to back wins!

Hope several injured players get healed up for Bears to make it three in a row.

Nothing wrong with back to back wins and lead in the East. Nothing at all

Now if we could just beat a quality team.

Yep. We're 5-2, 5-0 against non-playoff teams (if the season were to end today), and 0-2 against playoff teams. And we needed two game-winning drives to beat those non-playoff games. Not to mention, the only elite team we played in that 7-game stretch happened to beat us 49-17.

I'm happy about the wins but I'm still not confident we won't get destroyed in the 1st round of the playoffs. Hopefully we look more impressive in these final four games.

that game really sucks right now. we could be controlling the division right now if it was not for that lions game.

Both the Lion and Chief games are ones that you wish you had back.

Five out of seven is still a little surprising, especially considering the stench of the Saint loss. They have definitely shown some resiliency.

That elite team lost to a non-playoff team the week before we played them and them barely squeaked out a win against a non-playoff team the week after we beat them.

I thought the Chiefs beat us fair and square. I thought we had a chance to beat the Broncos. I can't blame Romo because he's the only reason we were even in the game, but his INT sure screwed us in the worst way. Anyway, it's funny how a few bounces can change the world's perception of you. 7-5 makes you look like a borderline playoff team, 9-3 makes you look like a Super Bowl contender. Same exact team, just the ball bounced a little differently.

Tell the Broncos that. They humiliate bad teams.
This is my point. You can only name one or two teams like this every year now. The rest are separated by very little. And usually those teams are led by a couple guys who are in the debate for the title of "greatest quarterback ever".

Parity.

Dallas is in a good spot.
Get softer than imagined Chicago and GB to go with a falling apart Wash team before finishing up with the Eagles.

Win over Washington would guarantee all NFCE tie-breakers.

Time to get healthy and make a real run.

What's your point? Elite teams lose too. No one is undefeated. I'm just saying the Saints are the only team we played during that stretch who will most likely be waiting for us if we make it deep in the playoffs. And they beat us 49-17. That's all I'm saying.

And Denver is one of those that could be considered an elite team that is pretty healthy. One that Dallas gave all they could handle.Dallas is probably in that next tier of teams if they were to get healthy and stay that way.
Right now we have to accept the Cowboys for what they are. Beat up as hell on defense. A team that we should be greatful for every win they can get.
Maybe they get Lee,Claiborne,Durant and Harris back for the full stretch. Then we can see where they really compare to everyone else.

The Chiefs are going through the same DL issues we have and are now 0-3 the past 3 weeks.

This is a what have you done lately league. Dallas got Denver, KC and NO when they were hot as fire.
That matters.

Could care less if Dallas plays a FBS schedule provided they make the playoffs.
There's no voting or BCS totals in the NFL, just wins.

A number of 9 win team shave done plenty of playoff damage and teams that went 14+ wins in the regular season have been ushered out unceremoniously.

Win the division, get the playoff nod, then worry about game plans and match ups.

And if we play them again, the score won't be 49-17.

You sure about that?

I just looked at the schedule. We're 7-0 against non-playoff teams and 0-5 against playoff teams. (This is if the season were to end today and if you were to consider the Chargers a playoff team since they're in a 5-way tie for the final wildcard spot).

We beat 7 non-playoff teams: Giants twice, Eagles, Commanders, Rams, Raiders, Vikings.

We lost to 5 playoff teams: Broncos, Chiefs, Chargers, Lions, Saints.

This is the NFL. A thin line separates top 10 teams from bottom 10 teams.

absolutely, and these scrappy Cowboys are right on the edge of being one of the top 10 NFL teams. What this team needs is to go get a signature win against a top NFL team (over.500), say the Chicago Bears or a Arron Rogers led Green Bay Packers. A signature win, will change the mentality of this team and push them into being a real Superbowl contender.....they need to defeat a good team and be a real contender.
