So far, through two games:

  1. Eagles offense = 61 points
  2. Giants offense = 54 points
  3. Commanders offense = 40 points
  4. Cowboys offense = 39 points

(Yes, the Cowboys scored 36 points against the Giants overall as a team in Week One, but 14 of those points were directly attributed to defensive touchdowns.)

Pretty pathetic considering how bad the Deadskins have been playing.

That and they've probably gave up the most yards on defense in the whole nfl the last 2 weeks too.

All of the Commanders' offensive points have come when they were already in a huge deficit. They trailed the Eagles 33-7 before scoring twenty points in a row to make it a respectable 33-27. Then they were being crushed 31-0 by the Packers before scoring twenty points to make it a more respectable 38-20.

But yes, I don't think the Cowboys' average of less than 20 points scored by offense per game bodes well for their playoff chances.

Nope. I would bet we have given up the least yards in the NFC East.

They've given up the 2nd-least yards in the NFC East. All four NFC East defenses have been terrible this year so far:

  1. Giants defense has given up 373 yards of offense per game.
  2. Cowboys defense has given up 395 yards of offense per game.
  3. Eagles defense has given up 460 yards of offense per game.
  4. Commanders defense has given up an astounding 511 yards of offense per game.

Giants and Skins both had defensive scores.

The Giants have not had a defensive score yet this year.

And yes, I took the Commanders' fumble return for a TD into account. The Skins have scored 47 points this year; I deducted the 7 points from that fumble return to make it 40 points of offense for Washington.

No its not. The Deadskins have been scoring points when the defense has let up. Deadskins were nearly scoreless before the Pack put backups in and started playing prevent.

The giants got to play the cowboy offense, so that benefits their stats. :)

And we have allowed the least points defensively in the division.

In the interest of full disclosure, of course.

We accomplished the near impossible yesterday. We threw the ball more and ran the ball less than an Andy Reid coached team.

Then that means the Cowboys offense was shorted those 2 possessions since they had to kick off again after the defensive TDs. Pretty good chance we score at least another FG if our offense took over with those short fields to work with, rendering this entire thread useless.

Not that this thread had any real merit to begin with. The Commanders were dominated in both losses but scored a good amount of points in garbage time. If the Chiefs were up 20+ at halftime, we'd have scored more than 16 points.

I thought escobar was the cure to our red zone woes. Too bad he can barely get on the field.

Here's the scary thing: our offensive line is better, but our offense still sucks.

Dallas 1-1
Philly 1-1
Giants 0-2
Deadskins 0-2..

Yeah, I am "real" concerned about some stupid "points Stat" right now.
