Signed by Cowboys Cowboys hire Eagles secondary coach Christian Parker as DC

[TheMarathonContinues]

One word here.....malleable .

Not saying that any of them wont be the reincarnation of Knute Rockne, but the 74 year old version of Jerry wants obedience and compliance......not experience

I’m not denying that but at the same time the NfL is compliance and obedience lol. If you go rogue you will find yourself out of work. Let’s keep it 100.

To me Wade is a perfect hire for Jerry. Someone happy do the opportunity. Parker had options.

Good hire. Now get this coach some players to work with, particularly in the secondary.

I hope that's not all we focus on I can see it happening now

[maryquality]

If this is true, I guess it means Rapoport has more "insider" knowledge than Machota and Belt.

[jazzcat22]

Yeah. Doesn't feel like a Jerry pick. Maybe Schotty was given the authority to choose his own DC afterall!!

Man, this will blow a lot of fans mind set Jerry does the hiring of all coaches.

[SwagSurfer]

Excellent

[shabazz]

This would be a good hire.

It might be but hes an unknown quantity.

If he was taking over a decent established defense as a 1st time DC, I think the transition would be better.

Hes taking over a 30th ranked defense with no experience as a sole DC.

[Shannon1]

Just like free agents, Jerry settles for sirloin instead of filet.

Hmm I guess you are a expert one all the defensive Coaches we have interviewed! Wow every team needs to hire you since you know everything!

[Jipper]

His background being the secondary concerns me.

our secondary players concerns me

[DCBoysfan]

This is the guy I hoped they would hire. Fagio plays a lot of different complex coverages
and this is supposed to be the guy that help teach it to the Eagles' secondary.

Jerry probably personally hires the hot dog vendors and gets a kickback., lol

[NeonNinja]

Excellent hire (IMO) and sound process for once. Credit them.

[Coogiguy03]

Hopefully he can bring some guys in here to help him out and let go of the guys we have here now

[unionjack8]

Meh

[cowboys5xsbs]

We made a competent good decision. Color me surprised.

[ReverendFelcher]

As much as I enjoy roasting Jerry for his dumb decisions--not today. Great hire.

[cowboys5xsbs]

Meh

Who did you want?

[Mikexike]

Just like free agents, Jerry settles for sirloin instead of filet.

hmmmm, i believe he settles for walmart usda choice beef.

[Cowboyny]

He is considered a rising star in the coaching circles, similar to when we hired Adams last yr, who did a tremendous job fixing our rushing attack!

Exactly what I’ve said but somehow that is a negative narrative since he hasn’t been DC
