OverTheCap.com projects the Cowboys to receive three fifth-round picks as well as one in both the sixth and seventh rounds, but there is a maximum of four picks that can be awarded to each team. This is a good bit to guess around for now, though.

To be fair, for five years Zeke was one of, if not THE, premier back in the league.

He fell off quickly about the time McCarthy got here. Which is typical for a RB. Dallas just refused to acknowledge it.

Should have done something his rookie season best time for it.

Dowdle is in the “good enough” range but we need an upgrade over him. He doesn’t break long runs and isn’t a playmaker. No one fears him but I definitely wouldn’t use a pick on a back in the top 15. Would love to land a dominant DT but not sure what the DT crop is like this year. OL would be a possibility.
I'd make a play for Aaron Jones on a 1-2yr deal.

He wanted to play in Dallas out of college. He's a Texas guy. I think he'd take a team-friendly contract

With them having McCaffery, Elijah Mitchell, Jordan Mason, and Isac Guerendo, I'm pretty sure they won't be going RB at #11
Didn't they all end up on IR? But I think you are right. They could go receiver though.

He could be put off that we showed no interest last offseason. He’ll only take a team friendly deal if there isn’t a better option/deal out there. It’s lot about money in free agency.

Cowboys traded their 7th already. So they will have just the one 7th round pick unless they do some trading.

Even if we tried harder to lose, I think the worst win total we would have had would have been 5, so very likely the best draft position this could have been would be 10th or 11th. Disappointing season for sure, but regardless it's doubtful we would have gotten a much higher pick.

We’re gonna need 2 CB’s minimum. Bland couldn’t can’t cover a guy in a wheelchair and needs to be launched. Diggs needs to be shipped out as well. BPA, hopefully WR 2 in the 1st and CB/RB in the 2nd.
