Tanking with a third of the season left as many suggested would just be crazy, but tanking for 1 game that meant nothing in order to get the 12th pick in every round instead of 16 or 17 makes perfect sense. Its not just the 12th pick, it’s watching better players going before your pick in every round, pushing the quality down exponentially more in each round.

No, there is no guarantee in the draft. You still have to pick the right players, but your odds increase in every round, especially for a team that often drafts well.

He's a splash pick...to put butts in seats...and the rest of picks will come from MASH units...broken collar bone, busted knee, players who cant play for another year etc....we all know the drill....one splash pick the rest geriatrics...

We knew this weeks ago. I tried to help those of you who insisted on expending serious energy on it as if we were getting into tho top five by losing.

We went from 16 to 12 with the loss. We are in a good spot at 12 with only around 13 1st round graded players available this year.
