Cowboys implement strict New Media Policy

They can't be reported post lockerroom session? Most of what I read was limited to the reporting of live stuff and no more vines. They can only share still pics or official vids.

Then everyone denies on here kills the media as liars bc there's no actual reporting of it?

What are we doing here, it's sports.

My edited version

Signs...in the locker room...not to be...reported on.

No detailed speculation...of an injury...until the injury report is issued.

This is pretty standard and it really has nothing to do with the 'evil media' even though they are not very good. Goes on in a lot of other sports as well, including golf. You can't film practice rounds of a golf event on the PGA Tour without consent. Lots of copyright issues. One blog writer thought she could skirt the rules on Tour and got her media credentials revoked after she continually filmed practice rounds on Periscope.

YR

I know the NFL has been cracking down on Twitter accounts that post NFL clips without expressed written consent. This is probably a top down initiative.

They either expect a major meltdown once we are mathematically eliminated, or dont want anybody seeing the laissez-faire attitude once we mail it in.

We are going all out now since we are in desperation mode. From Vanilla Offense to Chocolate Offense. WOW.

Jerry loves all forms of media so I wonder how hard it was to get him to sign off on the new policies?

Kinda Off topic but, wasn't there a player being interviewed at his locker and there was a banned substance product clearly sitting on a shelf? It may have been baseball

looking for a way in writing to take away JJT's media credential. sounds good to me!

Was my thought, as well. Something had to prompt this.

my first thought was this may have been for what went down with JJT and Dez. maybe Jerry in someway blames JJT for getting in Dez's head. but who knows just my opinion/guess.

pft is making fun of the cowboys and Commanders for this calling it a pr debacle from two teams who have won 3 playoff games in 15 years.
